It has four lines .
Each line has five or seven words.

What pattern does a five-line poem follow
It has five lines. The kind of poem was created by an American poet in the nineteenth century. It is always about a single topic. Each line has a set number of words.

Line 1: State the topic of your poem in
one word. Use a noun.

Line 3:Choose three words that tell what your topic can do. Use verbs.
Here is how to write a five-line poem.

here.
