二、学习者特征分析（说明学生的已有知识基础、学习习惯等信息）
学生已经在五年级时学过there is 和there are 的句型来描述房间。并基本已经熟练了动词原形与过去时之间的变化含义和方法。在此基础上学习新句型there was 和there were并不算很难。学生每天坚持听读英语，因此课文朗读能力比较强，自我表达能力上有些欠缺。因此为学生创设情境进行表述非常重要。
