“Visited twice in 3 days!”
★★★★☆
We had lovely food here. The fish was very fresh and they had delicious salads. It's also a great place to just sit and relax. The second time we went,we just ordered drinks and the waiters were friendly and left us alone. We stayed for three hours! It's right in the town center,so it's a bit noisy, but it's a convenient place to meet and very easy to get to.It's certainly worth a visit!

If someone mentions Hong Kong to you,you probably think of thousands of people, huge buildings, busy streets and pollution.Hong Kong is home to 6 million people. There can be up to 50,000 people per square kilometre in these areas and the housing prices are some of the highest in the world.【来源:21cnj*y.co*m】
However, the whole of Hong Kong is not all about these things. The area is actually made up of 263 islands and 75% of it is rainforest, mountains and sandy beaches.【出处:21教育名师】
I arrived in Hong Kong about a month ago and spent most of my time in the busy downtown. The flats there are pretty small and the daily journey to work contains squeezing yourself into underground and buses.21*cnjy*com
With the arrival of my lovely friends,I had the opportunity to get out of the city centre and into some small areas. One morning,we set off to visit one of Hong Kong's faraway islands—Cheung Chau (长洲).
The island of Cheung Chau can only be reached by ferry (渡船).As soon as the ferry arrived safely at the island,I was shocked.Old fishing boats passed through in the sea and lots of restaurants line the bank, offering us the most fantastic view.
We rented some bikes and set off.Cheung Chau is shaped like an hourglass. The town and the main beaches are in the middle, where the island is less than a kilometre wide, while the mountains covered with rainforest and beautiful beaches are at either end that are pretty wide.We cycled around the island and discovered many temples and some hidden beaches.
After swimming in the cool sea and a rest on a quiet beach,we went back to the middle for dinner by the bank.As we watched the sun drop down,we realized what a surprising escape from the busy city.

The smallest library in the world has appeared on the streets of New York City—and it has space for just one reader at a time. The bright yellow plastic building has 40 books and its purpose(目的) is to help travelers take a rest with a good story.www-2-1-cnjy-com

There are more than 5,000 Little Free Library across the US and the other countries, but most are nothing more than outdoor bookshelves which cannot hold readers inside. The project is to give everyone access to reading materials even if they live in areas which have no public libraries.21·世纪*教育网

五、任务型阅读。
阅读下面的短文,在表格中填入恰当的内容完成阅读摘记(每空不多于3个单词)。
Overhead bridges are found in many parts of Hangzhou, especially in places where traffic is very heavy.
The overhead bridges are built to help people to cross road safely. They are used in much the same way as zebra crossings. When people are using a zebra crossing, traffic is held up.This is why the government has built many overhead bridges to keep people and traffic moving at the same time. They are more efficient although there are some disadvantages. For example, people have to climb up a lot of steps. It's especially difficult for old people.
The government of Hangzhou has spent much money in building these bridges. For their own safety, people should be encouraged to use them instead of risking their lives by running across the road.People may find it a little difficult to climb up and down the steps, but it is still much safer than walking across the road with all the danger of moving traffic.
Overhead bridges serve a very useful purpose.People, both old and young, should make it a habit to use them. This will prevent unnecessary accidents and loss of life.

Square Dancing
Square dancing is becoming more and more popular with the elder people in China.
Not only is it a good way of keeping fit,but also it's a good time for the elder to walk outdoors to make and meet friends. No wonder that most dancers say that dancing makes them look younger and feel more confident. However, when people in large number dance to loud music, they create the noise that neighborhoods find it painful to bear. What's worse, some dancers even fight for a certain place to dance and lead to blooding.
In my opinion,we shouldn't dance too late or dance to too loud music to disturb others' life.Let's dance politely and happily. 21世纪教育网版权所有
