“基数词”如何变“序数词”
序数词是由基数词变化而来的，其基本规则为：
1. 第1-19的序数词
除one→first，two→secon ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )d, three→third有特殊形式外，其余序数词均由对应的基数词加th构成，其中有几个序数词拼法不规则，分别是five→fifth, eight→eighth, nine→ninth, twelve→twelfth。21·cn·jy·com
【指点迷津】一、二、三要全变①， 八去t，九去e， ve要用f替②；
① one→first， two→seco ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )nd， three→third，一、二和三变为序数词时要全变化，要单独记；② 八和九，五和十变为序数词要注意某些字母的变化，eight→eighth， nine→ninth， five→fifth， twelve→twelfth
2. 二十后的序数词
整十的序数词将相应的基数的词尾ty中的y变为ie，再加th, 如：thirty→thirtieth
当表达第几十几时，十位数用基数词，个位变成序数词。如：twenty-two→twenty-second
