教学目标
(一) 语言目标
1. 语音:能听读、辨认字母e在left, second, get, then等单词中的发音。
2. 词汇:能听懂、会说、认读新单词和短语turn left, turn right, go straight, get on, get off, hotel, hospital, airport, railway station;能听、说、读、写单词 hotel, hospital 和短语take a bus。
3. 句型:能用“Can you show me the way to the …?” “You can ...”问路和指路。
应用目标
1. 能听懂、会说A部分的对话。
2. 能借助地图和语段框架,基本正确运用句型问路和指路。
二、教学重、难点
1. 重点:能听懂、会说、认读新单词和短语turn left, turn right, go straight, get on, get off, hospital, airport, railway station;能 听、说、读、写单词hotel, hospital和短语take a bus;能听懂、会说本单元基本句型。
2. 难点:A部分单词短语较多,生词along, first, second, third, crossing的读音和含义只要求学生基本掌握,教师要根据学生实际情况适当降低要求。
三、教学准备
单词和短语图片,单词和短语卡片,教学图片、教学音频等 (有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件)。
四、教学过程

1. 话题解读
本单元话题为方向(Directions),延续了上个单元描述位置的内容,教学内容贴近学生的生活实际。在设计活动时,我注重挖掘学生已有的生活经验,在情境中运用句型,学会为他人指明去某一场所的路线,并能在对话中正确使用礼貌用语,如“Excuse me.” “Thank you.” “My pleasure.”等,培养学生乐于助人的优秀品质。
2. 难点分析
本单元对话课中的难点是单词短语较多,重点单词短语有hospital,hotel,airport,railway station, turn left,turn right,go straight等,其中生词along, first, second, third, crossing的读音学生很难在第一课时完全正确理解和掌握,因此我根据学生实际情况适当降低要求,生词的读音和含义只要求学生基本掌握,特别是序数词,将在本册第十一单元系统学习。
路线说明是对话PartA的主体部分,为了降低阅读的难度,我将整个路线说明分解成几个单句。You can go straight…,then…,and then…在学生基本理解每个句子的基础上,指导学生运用已学的知识和生活经验重新排列句子,推断出路线说
明,培养学生的推理和合作能力。
3.教学过程
1)warm up环节 让学生听指令,做动作,我特意说了turn left/right,show me your……等口令,既帮助学生焕起对旧知的记忆,又贴合本单元要学习的重点句型can you show me……,为后面的学习打好铺垫。
2)分组竞争环节,通过Bus No.1和Bus No.2的竞争,激发学生学习兴趣,调动他们的积极性。另外此内容也与A部分内容挂钩。
3)导入新知环节,通过人物Dino目睹学校发生的摔跤事件,要及时送医院引出Dino向一名交警问路情境,引入一系列新单词短语hospital,go straight,turn left,turn right,hotel.airport,railway station等。
4)操练单词环节,我设计了两个单词游戏,what’s missing?、magic eyes. 自编一段Chant来巩固和检验单词学习效果。设计了一个同桌根据地图简单操练句子,同桌之间任选一地互相问路、指路,锻炼其思维能力和语言能力。
5)课文对话学习环节,我设计了三个任务,分别是听音选择,听音跟读,听音排序,一步步突破教学难点。
6)拓展环节,给学生一个语言框架,让学生自由对话。
