Step II Warm-up and lead-in:
Show the picture of a guitar and at the same time play another short song played by guitar. Ask them: Can you play the guitar? Ask several students to share their answers.

1. Pair work
Let the students work in pairs to ask and answer about what the people can do and the clubs they want to join according to 2b. Show them an example at first:

2. Role-play
1)Show the pictures of Jane and Bob. Let them read their conversation in 2d carefully and complete the dialogue bubbles. Get two students read the dialogue after they finish.

2)Play the tape for the students to listen and repeat.

本节课亮点:
在预习检测中,加入了图片形象、直观、明了,能激发学生的学习兴趣;另外把句子拿出来作为预习任务,既检测了学生的预习效果,也能让师生心中有数。
本课的听力活动设计的很有层次性,从听取大意到听取细节,逐步深入,在训练学生听力的同时又强化了目标语言,一举两得。【出处:21教育名师】
听后活动设计多样化,从pair work到role-play 再到group work既重视了说的能力的训练又培养了学生写的能力,练习得比较全面,而且增强了学生的合作意识与集体荣誉感。
5. 家庭作业分层布置,让学习能力强的同学做更能体现他们高水平的作业。
不足之处:
本课的环节比较多,容量比较大,有些环节之间的过渡不自然,如pair work 与 role-play 之间的过渡。小组活动时间不充足,没有满足一些学生的表演需要。
