The steamboat will sink in a couple of hours
and he'll go down with it.

Step1: Lead in
Share some pictures with students and talk about reading habit, Mark Twain and The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, leading them to the topic of this class.

Step2: Guess & check
Let students look at the picture and decide:
What do Huck and Jim see
Then Students read Para.1 and check their guesses.

Step3: Read about the setting
Read Para.1 and fill in the blanks.
