一、教学内容

单词卡片、食物图片、每位学生准备一张贺卡纸、音频、圣诞老人服装。

Step 1 Warming up
齐唱歌曲 “We wish you a merry Christmas. ”(学生跟着节奏做动作,感受圣诞气氛) 。
Step 2 Preview
1. Enjoy a song.
师生共同欣赏并跟唱歌曲《新年好》。

T: What is the festival?
Ss: It’s the Spring Festival.
T: What do you do at the Spring Festival?
S1: We have a big family dinner.
S2: We say, “Happy New Year!”
设计意图:通过让学生跟唱欢快的英文歌曲,既可以调节情绪、活跃课堂气氛,使学生迅速进入学习状态,又可以复习旧知,顺利导入新课。
Step 3 Presentation
1. 学习:Listen, point and say.
T: What’s this? (手指着黑板上装扮好的圣诞树)
S: It’s a tree.
T: It’s a Christmas tree. (教师讲解“圣诞树”)
T: In this class, we’ll learn about “Christmas”.老师戴上圣诞老人的帽子,对学生们说:“Merry Christmas.”(带领学生反复操练)
T: I’ll give you a surprise. First, close your eyes. (此时老师装扮成圣诞老师,在圣诞树上挂满礼物) Open your eyes. Look! I’m the Santa Claus. What are these?
Ss :礼物。
T: Yes. They are presents. (出示一个礼物引出a present)
T: Here’s your present (操练单词) 。
设计意图:教师创设情境,让学生感受圣诞节氛围,教授有关圣诞节的单词,引导理解句子含义。教学中时刻注意词不离句,紧密与教学内容相结合。
2. 学习:Listen and say.
(1)T: Do you know about Christmas? 你知道哪些关于圣诞的小知识,或是圣诞节的风俗习惯?
S1: 圣诞节是每年的12月25日。
S2: 圣诞节是纪念耶稣降生的日子。
S3: 在圣诞节,人们要唱圣诞歌曲。
S4: 在圣诞节,人们要装扮圣诞树。
(学生争先恐后地回答有关圣诞节的知识,教师将学生的回答作一总结,然后张贴出事先准备好的卡片,并引出本课的句型,板书在相关的图片之下)

设计意图:釆用任务型教学模式,让学生边回答老师的问题边学习新知识,体现教师主导,学生为主体,培养学生动脑的好习惯。不同方式读单词,调节了课堂气氛,使学习新知的过程变得活泼有趣,学生更容易掌握新知。
(1) 放第一遍录音,让学生看图,体会语言所要表达的内容。
放第二遍录音,鼓励学生将图片下的句子按“主语+动词+名词”的形式划出。
放第三遍录音,学生跟读。
(3) 教师领读课文,对重点、难点词、句反复练习。
3. 学习:Do and say.
Make a card.
T:Do you want to give your friends, presents? Let’s make a card. Please take out your things and make it. You can do it by yourself, or with your deskmate, or in your group.
学生做好卡片后。
T: Now, please sing the song, and you can send your card to your good friends after the song. You should say, “Happy New Year!” or “Merry Christmas!”
设计意图:让学生制作贺卡,自己做,也可以和同桌合作完成,还可以小组合作完成。在制作完成之后,让学生在歌声中把贺卡送给自己的好朋友,并送上节日的祝福。通过这一系列的活动,让学生快乐自觉地学习和运用英语。
Step 4 Consolidation and extension

游戏规则:(模仿物品单词) 一人做动作模仿单词,一人猜单词,猜对的同学用新句型把物品送给模仿者。
2. Extension

T: Look! The Santa Claus is coming. (学生扮演圣诞老人,头戴准备好的圣诞帽)
Santa Claus: Hello, boys and girls! Close your eyes, I will give you presents(单词 Christmas tree/ sweets/水果食物等卡片).
T: OK, open your eyes.
(让拿到礼物的同学把礼物举起来让老师看一下。)
师生一起对得到礼物的同学说:Merry Christmas!
T: Show us your presents.
让拿有圣诞老人发的单词礼物的同学上台找朋友(找与单词相应的汉语意思) ,找到后大家一起读单词、句型(We have/ eat …)。
设计意图:让学生在接受礼物的氛围中锻炼语言交际能力,激发英语学习的兴趣,体验西方文化,并学习西方文化。
