1.定义：现在进行时表示现在正在进行的动作。
现在进行时的构成
主语+be动词+动词-ing形式
2.动词-ing 的构成
1）通常在动词原形末尾加—ing
do –doing listen-listening
look—looking spend—spending
stay—staying work---working
2) 以不发音的字母e 结尾的词，先去掉e,再加-ing
close—closing give—giving
make—making operate—operating
please—pleasing ride---riding
refuse—refusing take—taking
3 ) 以辅-元-辅结尾的单词，先双写最后一个辅音字母，再加—ing
begin—beginning put—putting
run—running sit—sitting
win—winning swim—swimming

4) 以ie 结尾的单词，改ie 为y+ing

3.现在进行时的基本用法
1）表示说话人说话时刻正在进行的动作

Listen! Someone is singing in the classroom.
2) 表示包括现在在内的一段较长时间里所进行的动，动作在说话人说话时不一定正在进行。
e.g. He is driving a truck this year.
They are building a bridge across the river.
3) 瞬时动作用于现在进行时，表示一个不断重复的动作。
e.g. They children are jumping.
The boy is kicking the ball .
Someone is knocking at the door.
4.现在进行时的句型变化
肯定句
主语+be+动词-ing+其他 (look, listen, now, at this moment, at present, right now)
否定句
主语+否定句：主语+be+not+doing+其它
一般疑问句
be+主语+动词-ing+其他？ （be动词提前）
e.g： 肯定句He is watching TV now.
肯定句We are working
否定句He is not watching TV now.
否定句We are not working.
一般疑问句Is he watching TV now?
肯定回答Yes, he is. 否定回答No ,he isn’t.
一般疑问句Are you working？
肯定回答Yes，we are. 否定回答No，we aren’t.
