一、教学目标
（一）语言目标
1. 词汇：能听懂、会说、认读新单词tall，short，long，round，young，old。
2. 句型：能运用句型询问他人外貌“ W ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )hat does he/she look like ”并能运“ He/She is tall.” “ He/She has big eyes.” 介绍他人外貌。21·cn·jy·com
（二）应用目标
1. 能询问他人的外貌特征。
2. 能初步运用B部分词汇介绍他人外貌。
二、教学重、难点
1. 重点：能听懂、会说、认读新单词tal ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )l，short，long，round，young，old。能询问他人“What does he/she look like ”并能初步运用“He/She is tall.” “He/She has big eyes.”介绍他人外貌。
2. 难点：单词round的发音和roun ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )d face的运用是词汇中的难点。词组难点是look like的理解和has big eyes。前者是因为大多数学生只知道like的一个意思是“喜欢”，而不知另一个意思是“像”，因此在理解和运用上有难度。后者是因为动词have的第三人称单数形式has容易和be动词is的用法混淆。2·1·c·n·j·y

单词卡片、课文录音、课本图片等（有条件的学校可利用幻灯片、多媒体课件）。
四、教学过程
Step 1 热身/复习（Warm-up/Revision）
1. Greetings
T: Nice to see you again.

这个句型的复习为对话的导入做了铺垫。
2. Game: Look and say
教师用课件呈现4幅学生熟悉的公众人物图片，要求他们观察并根据教师对人物的英文描述，回答出：Who is he/she 21·世纪*教育网

Ss: She is Zhao Wei.

Step 2 新课呈现（Presentation）
1. New words
（1）Listen to the tape of Part B and repeat.
（2）运用“直观教学法”教授新词，让学生学习、体验生活中的英语。
教授：tall and short，根据学生身高状况新授。

教授：long and short，根据实物或图片描述铅笔长短。

（1）根据对话回答问题

分角色朗读对话。让学生熟悉对话，习得语感。
Step 3 角色表演（Act and play）
1. 仿照A部分的内容，让 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )学生分组操练对话。每组4人，可以安排两名学生介绍新老师，另两名学生分别发表自己关于老师相貌的猜想。操练时间应不少于3分钟。
2. 学生上台进行对话表 ( http: / / www.21cnjy.com )演，教师给予评价。评选“优胜组”，加两颗星；还可以评选“勇气可嘉组”“语言流利组”，分别加一颗星。教师应根据学生不同的现场表现，给予不同的、有针对性的、有创意的评价，激发他们口语表达的兴趣和欲望。21教育网
Step 4 作业布置（Homework）
1. 跟读录音A、B部分，家长在“朗读登记表”上签字。
2. 和同学两人一组合作表演对话。
3. 抄写B部分单同四遍，并默写一遍。
