一、教学目标
(一) 语目目标
1. 词汇:能听懂、会说、认读新单词sign, mean, talk, fish, pick, smoke, spit;能听懂、会说单词exit, cinema, visitor, mobile phone。21·cn·jy·com
2. 句型:能初步运用“What does that sign mean?” “It means ... “Do not …”询问及解释公共标志的含义。初步了解“Do not +动词原形” “No+动词ing形式”以及“No+名词”句式的用法。
(二) 应用目标
1. 了解特定场所的公共标志有关知识,了解公共场所需遵循的一些规则。
2. 能用英语向人询问公共标志的含义,并给出简单的答复。
3. 能听懂、会说A部分的对话。
二、教学重、难点

Step 1 热身/复习(Warm-up/Revision)

Step 2 新课呈现(Presentation)
1. 游戏:唱反调。

用游戏的方式让学生熟悉祈使句及祈使句的否定形式。

2. New words and phrases
(1) Do not smoke

①通过游戏引出smoke这个单词,感知它的发音,模仿发音。
②通过动作或图片理解单词smoke的意义。

(2) 用多媒体或图片出示各种场合的指示牌、标志,学习单词sign。

用唱反调的游戏来操练刚才学的标志。

3. 学习句型“What does that sign mean?” “It means ...”
(1) T: What does that sign mean?
Ss: It means ...
将学过的标志问一遍。注意讲解mean的意思及其中ea的发音。
(说明:通过已学单词eat/read/clean/meal/please归纳字母组合ea的发音。)
(2) Ask and answer in pairs.
操练句型“What does that sign mean?” “It means ...”
4. 课文学习。
(1) 用课件或挂图呈现电影院的场景,学习单词cinema。
T: Who are they?
Ss: They are Lingling and Mingming.
T: Where are they going?
Ss: They are going to the cinema.
学习单词cinema。
(2) 看A部分的VCD或者听录音、看图片,理解课文大意。

1. 看图说句子。用多媒体呈现一些标志或指示牌,学生根据图片说句子。

2. 创设情境,自由对话。
教师创设情境,引导对话。学生两人一组,根据教师所给情境编对话。

活动说明:这是在新授标志之后的巩固拓展活动。教师把几份标志和相对应的标语打乱放在信封里分发给各个小组,让学生们进行限时配对,看哪一组又快又正确。然后各小组轮流选一个标志从以下几点进行描述:你在哪儿看到这个标志?它是什么意思?它对我们有什么帮助?这样便于学生对该标志有—个深刻全面的了解。【21教育】
