1. mention sth. to sb. 的用法
Language points

mention sth. to sb. 的意思是“向某人说起某事”。
eg.

2. feel/be sure of oneself 的用法
Maybe she doesn’t feel very sure of herself in her new school.
也许是她在新校园里对自己不太自信的缘故。
feel/be sure of oneself 意思是“自信,有信心”。
eg.

3. regret 的用法
I’m sure she regrets hurting you.
我敢肯定她后悔伤害了你。
regret doing sth. 意为“对做过的事情感到后悔”;regret to do sth.意为“对要做的事情感到遗憾”。
eg.I regret doing that.
我后悔我做的事。
I regret to tell you that you can't pass the examination.
我很遗憾地通知你你不能通过这次考试.
4. be patient with 的用法
So be patient with her and explain to her that she can make friends with your other friends too.
所以对她要有耐心,向她解释她也能与你的其他朋友交朋友。
be patient with表示“对……有耐心”。
eg.
