教学设计
一、教学目标
1.能听懂、会说询问生日的功能句型“When's your birthday?”,并能介绍自己的生日日期“My birthday is ….”21世纪教育网
2.能听、说、认读月份单词January、February、March、April、August,并能在语境中正确使用;了解on、in等在表示日期时的不同用法,on+日期,in+月份等。
3.能正确模仿录音朗读课文。
二、教学重难点
1.教学重点:
正确运用“When is your birthday?” “My birthday is ….”等进行口语交际。
2.教学难点:
基数词和序数词的进一步运用。日期表达中的序数词和年龄中的基数词,从句意上帮助学生进一步理解。
三、教具准备
教学挂图、配套光盘、单词图片、单词卡、生日歌、生日礼物、日历等。
四、教学步骤
(一) Listen and say
1.导入
(1) 师生互致问候。
(2) 教师板书months,引导学生进行Brainstorming,复习学过的月份词汇September、October、November、December等。21cnjy.com
(3) 教师介绍:“My birthday is in …. It's on ….” “When's your birthday?”导入新课学习。
2.学习对话1
(1) 观察主题图,预测对话内容。
教师出示课文主题图图一,引导学生观察、预测对话内容。
教师提问:“What can you see in the picture? Who are they? What are they talking about?”引导学生观察后回答问题。学生借助图片,能够看出图上的小朋友在讨论生日,因为前面单元的练习中出现过询问birthday的话题,教师可以引导部分学生借助图片大胆表达,“Lingling's birthday is on January 21s. Sara's birthday is on March 12th. ”2·1·c·n·j·y
(2)初听,理解对话,验证预测。
教师播放对话录音,学生静听,验证刚才的预测内容,尝试回答。
教师出示单词卡片,学习January、March。
带读后教师讲解:“January is the first month of a year. It comes before ________.”引导学生回答。“March is the ________ month of a year. It comes after February but before April.”教师示意学生补充,理解词汇,了解月份的前后顺序。然后练习读单词:January、February、March。
指导学生朗读January 21st、March 12th。
教师指着日历说:“January 21st: It's the twenty first day of January.”21·世纪*教育网
教师提问:“What's the date before / after January 21st?”引导学生说一说前面和后面的日期,了解序数词的意思,练习序数词表达。www-2-1-cnjy-com

教师布置pair work活动,学生分别扮演Lingling和Sara朗读对话。
(3) 对话操练。
跟读、模仿课文,加深理解。
师生分成不同的角色,示范朗读故事。
小组合作,朗读和表演课文。
(4) 运用和交流。
教师出示1月份日历,询问“Whose birthday is in January / March / September / … / February?”学习February。21教育网

3.学习对话2
(1) 教师出示课文主题图图二,引导学生观察、预测。
教师提问:“When's Yangyang's birthday?”
教师追问:“Why can't Yangyang have a birthday every year?”21*cnjy*com
引导学生讨论,扩充知识:“How many days are there in February / January …?”
引导学生总结出“There are thirty one days in January, March, May, July, August, October and December.”等知识。这里教师可以引导学生自主学习或调动学生的已有经验,交流自己了解的相关知识。【21教育名师】
引导学生跟读课文。
(2) 对话操练。
跟读、模仿课文,加深理解。
师生分成不同的角色,示范朗读故事。
小组合作,朗读和表演课文。
(二) Listen, look, and learn
(1) 导入。
教师呈现2月的日历,说:“Yangyang's birthday is in February. Whose birthday is in February, too?”引导生日在2月的学生回答,然后教师追问:“When's your birthday?”引导学生表达。
教师让学生在日历上圈出,并写下自己的名字。
教师和学生一起汇总信息:“Yangyang's birthday is in February. …'s birthday is in February.”引导学生关注名词所有格's的运用。www.21-cn-jy.com
(2) 呈现新词。
教师呈现4月份的日历,提问:“Whose birthday is in April?”生日在4月的学生回答:“My birthday is in April.”教师追问:“When is your birthday?”引导学生回答:“My birthday is on ….”在日历上写下姓名。【21教育】
教师引导学生汇总信息:“…'s birthday is in ….”
学习May、June、July、August方法相同。
(三) Ask and count
通过前面的活动,学生已经了解了一些同学的生日。教师可以呈现汇总的信息,再让同学选择自己的好朋友说一说,进行巩固练习。21*教*育*名*师
(1) 呈现标记过的月份的日历。
(2) 每个月份教师让2~3个学生说一说:“…'s birthday is in …. It's on ….”
(3) 教师引导学生数一数,“There are two / four / … students' birthday in February / January….”
