UNIT ONE WHAT DID YOU DO THIS SUMMER LESSON 1 教学设计
一、教学目标
1.能理解、认读表示询问过去活动的句型:“What did you do this Summer? I went back to Canada.”
2.能理解,认读本课中出现的动词did、went、had、visited、played、worked、stayed,尝试运用这些动词进行替换练习。
3.能理解、朗读本课对话。
4.能询问同伴暑期活动并尝试描述。
二、教学重难点
1.教学重点:理解,朗读对话。
2.教学难点:动词过去式的构成。
三、教具准备
录音机、单词图卡、教学课件。
四、教学建议
(一)Listen and say
Yangyang: Hi, Mike! Whatdid you dothis summer?
Mike: Oh, I went back to Canada I had a great time and did manythings
Yangyang: Whatdid you do in Canadad?
Mike: Well I visited my grandpa rents. I played with my friends. I worked on my uncle's farm. Where did you go, Yangyang?
Yangyang: I just stayed in Beiing. I learned to sing Peking Opera in the moming and went swimming in the afternoon.
Mike: Now wonder you look stronger.
Yangyang: Thank you. I also visited some museums and played with my cousins.
Mike:We both had an interesting vacation
分析与提示
·学生在四年级下第7单元第一次接触一般过去时的用法,时隔一年多会感陌生。小学阶段只要求理解表示过去状态或活动的表达方法。理解并表达疑问如:“Where did you see him?”因此,教师要从含义上进行讲解,重在理解。不必过分强调结构。首先让学生了解在表示过去活动时动词的结构要发生变化。其次是这些变化是有规律的。本单元接触到单词的过去式,基本上是单词在结尾部分加ed变化而来的,did、went和had是不规则变化的。
1.导入
(1)Greeting and free talk: Talk about activities in the summer vacation.(引出短语,比如:go swimming,play with friends,visit grandparents……)
(2)Group work:Look,match,and read每组一张单词卡,单词卡中间方框内是动词或动词短语的过去式形式,方框外是这些单词的原型,让学生小组内将动词词组进行配对,然后小组内尝试读出过去式。此部分的单词一定包含对话中出现的动词。
(3)Read and think: When do we use these words?目的是理解同一动词另一种表示过去的方式。
2.学习对话
(1)Question Time:教师呈现对话插图,引导学生观察插图,提出问题。(认识图中人物/观察对话情景/看图预测人物话语)参考问题:“What can you see in the picture? What do you want to know about them?…”
(2)Listen and write down the key words:听对话两遍,快速记录对话中主要信息。可以提出以下两个问题:“What did Mike do this summer vacation? What did Yangyang do?”
(3)Listen and answer:再听对话,师生讨论上述问题,理解对话。教师注意帮助学生理解:“No wonder you look strong.”
(4)Read and check:出示检测对话理解的练习。
读对话,判断下面的句子是否与对话内容相符,相符的在括号内写“T”,不符的写“F”。

( )④Yangyang looks stronger because he went swimming in the afternoon.

(5)Listen and repeat:听录音模仿跟读。
(6)Role play in groups:小组进行分角色表演。
(7)Group show:小组展示。
(二)Listen,look,and learn

·本部分内容为学生提供了三幅图片及相关短语。教师可指导学生在认读单词的基础上仿照例句进行问答,然后引导学生谈论自己暑假中都做了什么。此部分与Let's do板块联系紧密,可以考虑与Listen and match板块互换学习顺序。
(1)Free talk:师生谈论Mike和Yangyang的暑假生活,复习对话。引出句型并板书:“What did you do this summer? I went back to Canada.”
(2)Listen and understand:出示本课新词组“wrote a story”“make cakes”的课件或打开书听这两个词组,并想一想它们的原型词组,举例“went back means go back”。读后让学生说出“wrote a story means write a story”“made cakes means make cakes”,进一步理解动词过去式。
(3)Group work:说出含有wrote、made的短语。小组准备1分钟,然后小组比赛看哪组说的多。
(4)Pair work:用“What did you do this summer?”“I went back to Canada.”提问并回答,并进行短语替换练习。
(三)Listen and match
分析与提示
·此部分为听力练习。要求学生听短文将人物名称与图片连线。注意“read lots of sto-ries”中“read”是过去式,与原型发音不同。
(1) Look and say a phrase about each picture. Pay attention to the sound of “read”.
(2) Listen twice and match.
(3) Exchange book with your partner and check the answer.
(四)Let's do

·此部分是对本单元所学内容的拓展练习,要求学生结合自己的生活实际。真实描述同学的暑假生活。
(1) Free talk and review the verb phrases: “What did you do this summer? I ...”
(2) Teacher shows the form in Page 3. Ask a student: “What did you do this summer?” Write down his or her name and the sen-tence in the form.
(3) Encourage Students to ask and write.
(4)Show Students' work.(注意学生的书写,尤其关注学习困难的学生)
五、可供选择的教学活动
1.Game:Listen and say
教师说出一个动词,如:visit,学生说出它的过去式形式visited。用此种方式练习本课书其他的动词,教师也可以找一些学过的符合规律的动词,供学生练习用。
2.Dice Game
教师给学生每组一张A4纸。小组内商量在每个方格中写一个动词原型和它的过去式。然后做成骰子,小组成员轮流扔骰子,先读出动词原型和过去式,然后用过去式造一个句子。可以让学生课下完成骰子的制作,课上直接玩游戏。
