教学反思
本课教学设计新颖,环环相扣,可以说最大的优点就是形成了完整的知识体系,课堂设计生动灵活 , 极大地激发了学生的学习兴趣和热情,使学生在快乐中掌握了知识。当然本堂课也存在一些不足:
1、教师要有课堂效益意识。我正好缺乏这方面的运用;其次,课堂效益还体现在如何设计教学。课堂设计要有助于学生在课堂上积极参与复习过程中要重视学习方法的指导。?
2、英语课堂上教师应及时有效获取学情反馈,有效地进行课前回顾,课堂小结等环节的落实。及时了解学生的学习,以便在课堂教学过程中做出针对性的调整。?
3、教学效率的提高,要切实抓好备课这一环节,即备课要精,练习要精,作业要精。在课堂教学中强调基础知识的学习。?
4、从方法上,要抓住学生学习的薄弱点,区别不同情况,有针对性辅导。从策略上,加强学生实际问题的研究,做到缺什、补什么。
?5小组合作的教学形式成功体现。复习阶段小组交流,组长检查,互帮互学,班级展示时,几乎都是优生带差生,表明英语英语低差学生在融入课堂。小组展示时,准备充分,表现优异。
从本堂课收获中,我觉得现在的英语教学要以学生为主体,教师为引导。多鼓励差生开口说英语,并能及时地表扬他们。教师要有课堂效益意识。教学效益首先体现在课堂教学信息量、教学活动的广度和密度以及媒体的使用上。有效的媒体手段有助于课堂容量、密度和速度的提高。尤其是在英语课堂上适当地使用多媒体手段,不但可以活跃课堂,更能提高学生的参与面,短、频、快的大容量课堂节奏能有效的吸引并集中学生的学习注意,从而最终提高学习的听课效益;其次,课堂效益意识还体现在教学的设计中要充分为学而教,以学生如何有效获取知识,提高能力的标准来设计教学。课堂设计要有助于学生在课堂上积极参与,有助于他们有效内化知识与信息,复习过程中要重视学习方法的指导,在教学中恰当地渗透中考的信息,拓宽教学内容。
八年级下Unit5 What were you doing when the rainstorm came?
Section A (1a-2c)
Step 1. Listen to a song. ( Revise “am/is/are+doing”)
1. Listen to a song about “doing”.
2. Try to sing the song by themselves.
3. Ask some students to sing it. Then sing together.
Step 2.
1. Show the picture. Ask: “What’s he doing now?”
Student A answer: He is playing soccer.
Then ask: “ What was he doing at 3 o’clock yesterday?”
Student B try to answer: He was playing soccer.
Ask them to pay attention to “is playing” and “was playing”.
2. Show the other two pictures. Ask and answer as the first one.
(1) What is she doing now?
She is reading.
What was she doing at 8 o’clock yesterday morning.
She was reading.
(2) What are they doing now?
They are watching TV.
What were they doing at 8 o’clock yesterday evening?
They were watching TV.
Step 3. Summarize.
1. 过去进行时表示过去某一时刻或某一段时间内正在进行或发生的动作。
2. 过去进行时的结构: was/ were + doing
3. Read and remember.
Step 4. Sentence Chain!
Each student say a sentence, using “was/were+doing” . Say it one by one, as quickly as you can! Have a competition, which line is the first to finish.
Step 5. Lean in.
1. Look at a picture of rainstorm, ask: “What’s the weather like?”
Answer : Rainstorm.
2. Show other pictures of different places. And show the questions: Where were they?
What were they doing when the rainstorm came?
3. Look at the pictures, and the students discuss where they were and what they were doing.
4. Ask some students to give the answers:
(1) She was at home. She was doing her homework.
(2) He was in the library. He was reading.
(3) She was at a bus stop. She was waiting for the bus.
(4) He was on the street. He was walking home.
Step 6 Listening.
1. Watch a video about a TV report. Remember what they were doing when the rainstorm came. Try to remember as many details as you can.
2. Circle the correct responses as quickly as possible.

Step 7 Practice and act
1. Talk about what the people in 1a were doing at the time of the rainstorm. If you are a reporter, please interview these people what they were doing, then give a report. Then act it out in group.
