一、教学目标(Teaching aims)
通过 Think and say 的练习,帮助学生运用句型 He/ She was ... His/ Her ... was/ were…介绍人在不同成长阶段的年龄、身份、外貌特征及爱好。
帮助学生复习字母 e、i、y 和字母组合 e-e、ee、ea 在单词中的发音。
通过 Make and write 的写作活动,让学生进一步巩固和运用核心句型。二、教学重难点(Teaching points and difficulties)

Pre-task preparations
小组比赛。教师出示学生熟悉的人物不同时期的图片,如体育明星、班主任老师、学生家长等,请学生看图猜年龄,猜中的小组加分。
T: Who’s ... in this photo? S1: Is he/she …?
T: Yes./No. How old was she? S1: She was...
请一个学生借助照片介绍自己和家人小时候或年轻时的情况,然后教师提
问,让其他学生反馈。
S1: This is my father. He was twenty-eight years old. He was tall and fat. He was a teacher. This is my mother. She was twenty-five years old. She was short and pretty. T: Who’s the man in this photo?
S2: He’s (S1’s name)’s father. T: How old was he?
S3: He was twenty-eight years old.
While-task procedures
让学生看 Think and say 的图片,根据关键词 思考如何口头描述图片。然后两人一组练习说一说。请几组学生向全班作介绍。
S1: In Photo 1,Kitty was a cute baby. She was about six months old. S2: In Photo 2,Ben was a primary school student. He was 11 years old. S3: ...
出示 Learn the sounds 的单词,请学生轻声朗读,找出发音规律,教师进行总结。
e, e-e, ee, ea —/i:/ i,y—/i/
然后播放 Learn the sounds 的录音,请学生跟录音朗读单词。
请学生完成 Listen and circle 的练习,然后核对答案。还可以出示符合发音规律的几组单词,请学生根据读音规则直接拼读。

学生完成 Make and write 的练习,在方框内物姓名、与贴两张父母年轻时的照片,并填空完成照片描述。然后学生结对或分组互相交流。
Post-task activities
请学生展示一组自己父母或朋友不同时期的照片并作介绍。教师根据学生具体情况给予提示或帮助。
S1: In Photo 1, my mother was about eleven months old. She was really cute. Her favourite food was milk.
In Photo 2, my mother was about five years old. She was pretty. She was in the sitting room with her favourite cat.
学生两人一组活动,发给每组学生两张作业纸:一张印有四幅图片(如下所
示),一张则为与图片对应的文字。学生一人拿图片纸,一人拿文字纸,互相问答,把文字和相应的图片配对。

S1: In this photo, Jack was a baby. He was four months old. He was cute. S2: It’s Photo A. There is a baby in this photo. How old was the baby?
S1: He was four months old.
根据学生学力,也可以将图片和文字放在一张纸上,把每段文字的部分关键信息(如人物姓名、年龄)改为空白,让学生通过问答获取关键信息,填空完成描述文字。
S1: In Photo C,there is a policeman. He was young. His hair was short. How old was he?
S2: He was 25 years old.
