一、教学目标(Teaching aims)
帮助学生学习Look and learn中的生词。
通过Listen and say的对话学习,帮助学生掌握句型Would you like to have e-friends in other countries?
通过Ask and answer的问答活动,帮助学生操练核心句型。
二、教学重难点(Teaching points and difficulties)
语音:词汇:e-friend, country, other, hobby, would like
句型:Would you like to have e-friends in other countries?
日常用语:I’d like to know about...
三、教学准备(Teaching preparation)
课件、音频。
四、教学过程(Teaching process)
Pre-task preparations
1. 请学生谈谈他们的朋友。
S1: I have a good friend. His name is ... We go to school together. We go to the table tennis club on Sunday together. I like reading. He likes reading too.
2. 出示英国、美国、加拿大、澳大利亚、印度和日本的国旗,向学生介绍这些国家的国名和一些基本情况。
T: This is the national flag of the UK. The UK is the name of the country. Now follow me, the UK.
S1: The UK.
T: The UK is in Europe. It has a long history. The people there speak English.

然后出示Look and learn的单词,让学生跟读。
While-task procedures
用I’d like to…表达自己的各种愿望,同时板书I’d like to…。
T: Australia is a beautiful country. I’d like to visit this country. I’d like to see the kangaroos there.
然后,请学生模仿老师用I’d like to ...表达自己的愿望。教师提问引出句型Would you like to…?和单词e-friend,同时把Would you like to ...?写在黑板上。
T: We can’t go to visit these countries now. But would you like to know more about these countries? (write Would you like to …?)
Ss: Yes.
T: Would you like to have a friend in one of these countries?
Ss: Yes.
T: But how? We can have an e-friend in these countries, (write e-friend on the blackboard)
解释e-friend的意思,并请学生跟读。
2. 出示Listen and say的反馈练习,让学生先听录音,根据对话内容将人名连线配对,然后回答问题。
T: Who is Joe’s e-friend?
Ss: Denis Smith.
教师谈谈自己想结交哪国的笔友,想了解些什么。
T: I’d like to have an e-friend in Australia. I’d like to know about his hobbies and places of interest in Australia.
板书hobby,用图示解释其意思,然后请学生跟读单词。请学生谈谈他们想结交哪个国家的笔友,想了解对方哪些方面的情况。

3. 出示Listen and say的图片,播放录音,请学生逐句跟读,鼓励学生尽量,模仿音频中人物的语音语调。
4. 把学生分成若干小组,请各小组分角色表演 Listen and say的对话。
Post-task activities
1. 学生和同桌根据Ask and answer的提示对话。教师在教室里来回巡视,如果学生有需要,及时给予帮助。给学生提供表格,让他们记录信息,为后面的汇报作准备。
S1: Would you like to have e-friends in other countries?
S2: Yes, I’d like to have an e-friend in Australia.
S1: What would you like to know about your e-friend?
S2: I’d like to know about his/her family and his/her favourite animals.

通过阅读Look and read的电子邮件,帮助学生掌握电子邮件的格式。
二、教学重难点(Teaching points and difficulties)

课件、音频。
四、教学过程(Teaching process)
Pre-task preparations
1. 教师设置各种情境,请学生根据情境表达自己的愿望。
T: You’re very tired now. What would you like to do?
S1: I’d like to go to sleep.
S2: I’d like to drink some coffee.
在黑板上出示英国、美国、加拿大、澳大利 亚、印度和日本的国旗,同时在黑板上板书对话范例,请学生根据范例进行对话操练。
S1: Would you like to have e-friends in other countries?
S2: Yes, I’d like to have an e-friend in ...
S1: What would you like to know about your e-friend?
S2: I’d like to know about...
While-task procedures
1.教师出示Look and read栏目中Kitty写给 Gary Brown的电子邮件,请学生仔细读,然后回答教师的问题,检测学生阅读理解的程度。
1) Who is Kitty’s e-friend?
(Gary Brown.)
2) What would Kitty like to do?
(She would like to be Gary Brown’s e-friend.)
3) What does Kitty tell Gary Brown in the email?
(She tells Gary about her family, age, school and her hobbies.)
2. 学生再次阅读电子邮件,然后填空完成Kitty的信息卡。
3. 请学生观察电子邮件的格式,帮助学生归纳出电子邮件的基本格式和初次给笔友写信应该包括的内容。
4. 逐句播放Look and read的录音,学生鼓励学生尽量模仿录音的语音语调。
Post-task activities
1. 请学生说说英文电子邮件的基本格式,然后请学生完成个人资料卡,选择一个外国笔友写一封电子邮件告诉他自己的个人情况。教师可以把Look and read的电子邮件作为模板,让学生根据个人实际情况填写相应的信息,完成电子邮件。
2. 请部分学生把所写的电子邮件读给同学听;如有条件,可把学生的电子邮件放在实物投影仪下,请全班一起检查该学生的电子邮件的格式是否正确。

帮助学生复习字母f、v和字母组合th在单词中的发音。
通过学习任务(Task),帮助学生巩固和综合运用本单元所学的知识和技能。

四、教学过程(Teaching process)
Pre-task preparations
请学生用I’d like to ... 表达自己的愿望。
S1: I’d like to visit the US.
S2: I’d like to go to the park with my family this Sunday.
2. 请一个学生走上讲台,其他学生用Would you like to…? 提问,该学生根据实际情况进行回答。
S1: Would you like to have an e-friend in the UK?
S2: Yes, I’d like to have an e-friend in the UK.
S3: Would you like to watch TV this evening?
S2: No. I’d like to read a book this evening.
While-task procedures
1. 学生完成Think and write的练习,先看资料卡,根据资料卡口头说一说Gary的个人情况,然后填空完成Gary给Kitty的邮件。
2. 呈现Culture corner的两张图片,向学生简单介绍英式足球和美式足球,让学生说一说自己了解的美式英语和英式英语的区别。
出示Learn the sounds的单词,请学生轻声朗读,找出发音规律,教师进行总结。 f—/f/

然后,播放Learn the sounds的录音,请学生跟录音朗读单词。
请学生完成Listen and circle的练习,然后核对答案。出示含有字母f、v和字母组合th的单词,请学生根据读音规则直接拼读。

Post-task activities
1. 教师提供一些笔友资料卡,让学生从中选择自己想要结交的笔友,写一封电子邮件给他们。或者请学生以同桌的外国笔友的名义回一封电子邮件,然后请部分学生交流他们写的邮件。
2. 请同学看《练习册》Task的第一部分,勾出自己想结识的笔友。然后完成第二部分的练习,写一封电子邮件给这位笔友,邀请对方成为自己的笔友。最后,学生与同学回合,了解他们想和谁做笔友以及他们想了解笔友的哪些信息。
S1: Who do you want to be e-friends with?
S2: I want to be e-friends with Joe Smith.
S1: Which country is he from?
S2: He’s from the UK.
