Pre-task preparations
1. 围绕“假日”主题:How was your holiday?让学生介绍假日活动,复习一般过去时句型和单词 museum。
T: How was your summer holiday?
S1:It was fun. I visited my uncle in Beijing. I went to the Great Wall, Tian’anmen Square and the Palace Museum. I had a good time.
2. 播放Listen and enjoy的录音。提问Where does Alice always go? What does she go to see? 学生回答。
Where does Alice always go?
(She always goes to museums.)
What does she go to see?
(She goes to see insects and art.)
While-task procedures
1. 根据Listen and enjoy的内容,引出生词 insect。出示insect的图片或系列实物, 如 ladybird、butterfly、fly、moth等,介绍These are insects. We can see insects in an insect museum. 板书并领读insect,让学生说一说昆虫类的动物。
T: What does Alice go to see?
S1: She goes to see insects.
T: Yes, we can see insects in an insect museum, (write insect on the blackboard) Read after me. Insect.
Ss: Insect.
2. 出示昆虫博物馆的图片,问学生在昆虫博物馆还可以看到什么,引出生词ant和bee,板书并领读。
T: What else can you see in an insect museum?
We can see ants there, (write ant on the blackboard) Ant.
Ss: Ant.
3. 出示各类博物馆(science museum, insect museum, art museum, film museum, car museum, toy museum)的图片,让学生辨别博物馆的类型,教师板书博物馆的名称并领读。
T: What museum is it?
S1: It’s a science museum.
T: (write science museum on the blackboard) Read it together.
Ss: Science museum.
指着博物馆的图片,提问在各个博物馆可以看到什么,学生回答。
T: What can you see in a car museum?
SI: I can see a lot of cars in a car museum.
4. 让学生看Culture corner的图片,简单介绍两个博物馆的情况。如有条件,可播放两个博物馆的视频。
Post-task activities
出示各类博物馆的名称和各类博物馆的陈设物品,让学生进行配对。

Pre-task preparations
出示各类博物馆的图片,要求学生说出其名称。
T: What museum is it?

2. 请几个学生出示自己参加博物馆的照片,向全班作简单介绍。
T: Did you visit any museums during the holiday?
S1: Yes, I did. I visited a car museum. I saw some cars there.
While-task procedures
1. 播放Listen and say的录音,先出示问题,让学生带着问题听录音,然后校对答案。
What did Joe do last Sunday?
(Joe visited a car museum last Sunday.)
What did he see there?
(He saw a lot of interesting cars.)
播放课文录音,学生模仿朗读,并根据 Listen and say的内容完成反馈练习中两人的日记,也可以完成下面的概要。

3.让学生根据日记或对话概要,试着复述课文。

学生根据Ask and answer的范例和图片,两人一组进行对话。

S2: I played with the robots. Do you want to go there?

1. 要求学生根据自己参观博物馆的经历完成 Think and write,有画画能力的学生可以在相关句子旁边画上博物馆的简笔画。

1. 出示Look and read的文字和插图,先让学生自己阅读,然后引导学生关注文章各个段落分别讲述了什么。

Para 4: They saw a robot dancer.
Para 5: They had a great time there.
2. 让学生阅读课文,试着理解其中的生词,根据内容完成概要。然后播放录音,学生跟读。

3. 学生四人一组,复述课文。让学生根据完成的概要,组内分角色分段进行复述。

S2: They saw a robot at the piano. He could play songs.
S3: They saw a robot dancer. He could move his head and arms.

播放Learn the sounds的录音,示范发音,学生模仿练习,总结发音规律。

再次播放Learn the sounds的录音,学生跟读、抽读,练习发音。最后播放Listen and circle的录音,学生完成练习,核对答案。教师还可以出示含有字母o、a以及字母组合 or、al、au、oor的单词,请学生根据读音规则尝试拼读。

Post-task activities
1. 对子活动。学生两人一组,将Look and read的短文改编成与主人公Kitty或Ben的对话。

S2: My brother and I went to a science museum. We visited “The World of Robots”.
S1: What did you see there?
S2: We saw many kinds of robots there. There was a robot at the piano. He could play songs. We saw a robot dancer. He could move his head and arms. We also saw many other interesting robots. We had a great time there.
S1: Wow! I want to visit the science museum too!
2. 请学生看《练习册》Task的第一部分,根据自己想参观的博物馆填写相关资料,如博物馆的地点、参观路线和交通方式等。然后学生在小组内根据第二部分的问题进行回答,讨论他们想去哪家博物馆,在方框内填写相关信息。最后,学生完成第三部分的练习,写一写自己和同伴讨论并确定的参观计划。
