一、教学目标(Teaching aims)
通过Listen and say的小诗,帮助学生了解空气的特征和作用,并体会核心句型的用法。
学生完成Make and say的小手工,通过演示降落伞下降的过程,体会空气的 作用。
二、教学重难点(Teaching points and difficulties)
词汇:air, everywhere, alive, plant, keep …alive
句型:It keeps them high in the sky.

课件、音频。
四、教学过程(Teaching process)
Pre-task preparations
1. 以猜谜语为引子,激发学生兴趣,然后播放Listen and say的录音或多媒体动画,引入单元话题。
T: Today we are going to start our lesson with a riddle. It’s a very long one. Please listen carefully and guess what it is. (play the recording of“Listen and say”)What is it?
Ss: Air.
T: (write air on the blackboard) Yes, it’s air. Today we are going to talk about it.
2. 教师提出问题,让学生联系已学的知识说说对空气的认识。
T:What do you think of air?
S1: Air has no colour.
S2: Air has no smell.
S3: Air is important to people.
S4: ...
T: Yes. We can’t see it, but we can feel it. Air is important to all living things.
While-task procedures
1. 播放Listen and say第一段的录音,让学生模仿朗读。然后提问,在黑板上写下问题。
T: What is air? (write the question What is air? on the blackboard)
S1: It has no colour or shape.
S2: It has no smell or taste.
S3: We can’t see it, but we can feel it.
S4: It’s everywhere.
根据学生的回答,选择核心信息,加在板书上,板书内容如下:

2. 播放第二段课文录音,让学生模仿朗读,然后回答问题,说说这段的主要内容。
T: The first part is about what air is. What about the second part?
S1: It tells us why it’s important.
T: Right. It shows why air is important to all living things, (write Why is air important? on the blackboard)
T: Who needs air?
S1: People need air.
S2: Animals and plants need air.
T: Yes, air keeps us alive.
提取学生回答的核心内容,完成板书。

3. 引导学生阅读第三段,说说第三段的核心内容,尝试让学生自己找出核心词,完成板书。
T: All living things need air to keep them alive. What about other things? Do they need air? Why?

4. 播放Listen and say的完整录音,学生模仿朗读。然后让学生两人一组做问答练习。

引导学生根据板书自主说话,作为本节课的小结。
T: Can you talk about air? You can look at the key words on the blackboard.
S1: Air has no colour or shape. It has no smell or taste. We can’t see it but we can feel it. It’s everywhere. Air is important to people, animals and plants. It keeps all living things alive. It keeps kites, balloons, planes and birds high in the sky too.
2. 学生看Make and say的图片,学习制作降落伞的步骤,制作并演示降落伞下降的过程,然后说一说。

一、教学目标(Teaching aims)
帮助学生学习Look and learn中的单词。
通过Say and act的情景对话,帮助学生理解核心句型的含义和用法。
通过对话表演,帮助学生操练句型,引导学生关注环保和空气污染问题。
二、教学重难点(Teaching points and difficulties)
词汇:factory, smoke, dirty, clean, fresh, plant trees
句型:It makes the air dirty.
Trees keep the air clean.

四、教学过程(Teaching process)
Pre-task preparations
1. 学生集体朗读Listen and say的课文,也可以让学生介绍空气,为后续学习做铺垫。
T: We know that air is very important to us all. Can you tell me why it’s important?
S1:It keeps things high in the sky.
S2: It keeps people, animals and plants alive. 展示一些关于空气污染的照片,引起学生的共鸣。
T: Yes. Air is so important to us. Look at these photos. Do you think the air is dirty?
2. 通过提问引入Say and act的对话,导入课文。
T: What happens to the air? Ben and Kitty are talking about it. Let’s join them. 在学生听录音之前,教师设问,让学生带着问题听对话。
T: How do Ben and Kitty feel about the air in different places?
What makes the air dirty?
While-task procedures
播放Say and act的多媒体动画,学生观看动画后尝试回答问题。
T: How is the air in the street?
S1: It’s dirty.
T: How is the air in the park?
S1: It’s dean.
2. 播放课文第一段录音,学生两人一组模仿朗读。教师提出问题,让学生通过练习对话找出答案。
T: Now, let’s do a role-play. Act out the first dialogue with your partner. Talk about what makes the air dirty in the street. 把全班学生分成两大组,分角色朗读课文。 然后让学生回答问题。
T: Now can you tell me what makes the air dirty in the street?
S1: Smoke makes the air dirty.
T: Where does the smoke come from?
S2: Some smoke comes from the factory.
Some smoke comes from cars and buses.
T: Yes, that’s why the air is dirty. So where can they get clean air?
3. 提出问题,让学生带着问题阅读第二段的対话,了解空气洁净的原因。
T: How is the air in the park?
What should we do to keep the air clean^
然后让学生两人一组表演对话,表演结束后回答前面提出的问题。
S1:The air is fresh because there are a lot 0f
trees in the park.
S2:We should plant more trees and keep the air clean.
4.学生完成反馈练习,然后在小组内校对答案。
Post-task activities
1. 总结Say and act的核心内容,通过提问引导学生回顾本课时所学的主要内容。
可以根据学生学力,采用教师提问、学生回答的方式概括本课时内容。
T: What is this dialogue about?
S1: It’s about air pollution.
S2: Smoke from factories or cars makes the air dirty.
S3: It makes people’s eyes hurt.
T: So what should people do to keep the air clean?
S4: We should plant more trees because trees keep the air clean.
2. 学生朗读Say and act的对话,然后表演对话。根据学生的能力,可以让学生发挥想象力,改编对话。

通过Ask and answer的问答练习帮助学生运用核心句型,联系实际,围绕空气污染展开讨论。
通过Think and write的写作练习,帮助学生综合运用本单元所学的句型描述空气的重要性和空气污染的原因,并对如何保持空气洁净给出建议。
帮助学生学习字母g、j、s和字母组合ch、sh在单词中的发音。
通过学习任务(Task),帮助学生巩固和运用本单元所学的知识和技能。

Pre-task preparations
学生表演Say and act的对话,引入本课时的学习内容。
T:From the dialogue we know that smoke makes the air dirty. Today we are going talk about it more.
2.教师设问,让学生根据自己的认知说说空气污染的情况
While-task procedures
借助多媒体或挂图出示空气污染的图片,让学生说说空气污染的原因。
T: Look at these photos. Can you tell me what makes the air dirty?
S1: The smoke from factories makes the air dirty.
S2: The smoke from cars makes the air dirty.
S3: The smoke from buses makes the air dirty.
S4: The smoke from burning wood makes the air dirty.
S5: The smoke from firecrackers makes the air dirty.
2. 根据学生的回答引出下一个问题,并出示 Ask and answer栏目中第二排的图片,激发学生思考保护环境的对策。
T: There’s so much air pollution nowadays.
What should we do to keep the air clean?
S1: We should drive our cars less often.
S2: We shouldn’t play with firecrackers a lot.
S3: We should ride a bicycle or take buses to work or school more often.
S4: We should use both sides of the paper.

学生可以先在小组内讨论,然后在班级内进行交流。
3. 教师总结本单元的内容,用问题帮助学生梳理学习内容。
T: In this unit, what did we talk about?
Ss: Air.
T: What is air like?
S1: Air has no colour, shape, smell or taste.
S2: Air is important to us.
S3: Air keeps people, animals and plants alive.
T: What makes the air dirty?
S1: Smoke from factories, cars and buses makes the air dirty.

将以上三个引导性问题的核心内容板书在黑板上,帮助学生总结本单元的学习内容。
T: In this unit, we learnt about air. Please tell us something about air.
S2: Air has no colour or shape. We can’t see it, but we can feel it. Air is important to us. Air keeps us alive. Air keeps things high in the sky. Now the air is getting dirty. The smoke from factories makes the air dirty. The smoke from cars and buses makes the air dirty too. It’s not good for us. We should keep the air clean. We should drive our cars less often. We should plant more trees. We hope we can have fresh air all the time.
最后,让学生通过小组和集体交流,谈一谈个人对空气的认识。
4.学生朗读Learn the sounds的单词,感受红色字母的发音。教师可以先作示范,引导学生自己找出发音规律。
T: ch, /t?/, chair, China.
Ss: ch, /t?/, chair, China.
T: Please read the other words with the sound /tJ7 in them.
S1: Each, rich.
T: Can you find any other words with this sound?
S2: Teacher, children, watch, catch.
运用这种方法教学其他语音。然后让学生完成Listen and circle的练习。
Post-task activities
1. 学生完成Think and write的练习,将口头能够表达的内容落入笔头。在写小短文之前先口头说一遍,然后再落笔。学生写完后可以在小组内进行交流。
2. 请学生看《练习册》Task的第一部分,找一找有关空气污染的图片并贴在方框里。接着,学生分成若干小组,根据第二部分的提示在小组内问答,讨论保持空气洁净的方法。

最后,学生在海报上写下讨论的结果,画出相应的标识。
