一、教学目标(Teaching aims)
1. 通过Say and act的场景对话,帮助学生巩固本单元的生词及句型。
2. 帮助学生学习字母组合sm, sp及st在单词中的发音。
二、教学重难点(Teaching points and difficulties)
1. 日常用语:Let’s go!
2. 语音:sm (smoke), sp (spider), st (star)
三、教学准备(Teaching preparation)
课件、音频。
四、教学过程(Teaching process)
Pre-task preparations
1. 让全班学生玩Simon says的游戏,复习方位词等。
T: Simon says, “Raise your right hand”. Raise your left hand. Simon says, “Stand on your right foot.” Simon says, “Put a ruler between two pencils.”

2. 展示动物园的照片,引入动物园的话题。
T: There’s a place in the city. We can see animals there. What’s this place?
S1: The zoo.
T: Yes. How can we get there?
S2: We can get there by bus.
T: What animals do you like?
S3: I like bears and monkeys.
While-task procedures
1. 可到本市或其他知名动物园的网站下载地图,向学生展示动物园的地图。
T: (S3’s name) likes bears. Where are the bears in this zoo?
S1: There (point to the map). Near the tigers.
T: We’re at the main gate (point to the main gate on the map). How can we go to see the bears?
S2: Walk straight along this road, and then turn left. Walk along the road. The bears are on your right.

2. 向学生呈现课本Say and act中的图片,猜猜图片中的人物想去看什么动物。
T: At the zoo, we see many lovely animals. Kitty and her friends are coming to the zoo. What do they want to see?
让学生听Say and act录音的第一部分,说说图片中的人物分别想去看什么。
S1: Alice wants to see the monkeys.
S2: Kitty wants to see the birds.
S3: Peter wants to see the bears.

最后,让学生根据Say and act中的图片,说说这些动物分别在哪里。
T: Where can they see these animals?
S: The birds are on Winter Road.

3. 学生结对子,分别说说去参观monkeys, birds和bears的路线。
T: I want to see the birds. Now I’m here. How do I get there?
S: Walk along Summer Road and then right.?
然后,让学生设计一条可以一路参观这些动物的路线。
T: Then let’s find the best way to see the monkeys, birds and bears.
让学生听Say and act的录音,在课本第61页Say and act的后续练习中画出Peter等人参观行走的路线。
4. 出示Learn the sound上的语音单词卡片sm (smoke), sp (spider)和st (star),请学生跟读并感知发音。
T: sm, /sm/, smoke, smoke.
Ss: sm, /sm/, smoke, smoke.
T: sp, /sp/, spider, spider.
Ss: sp, /sp/, spider, spider.
T: st, /st/, star, star.
Ss: st, /st/, star, star.
然后,教师播放Learn the sounds的录音,请学生跟录音模仿朗读儿歌。鼓励学生模仿录音中的语音语调。出示更多包含相关字母组合的单词,让学生尝试拼读。如small, spell, stick等。还可把几个发音比较,让学生分类。如:
sm: smell, smooth, small, smile
sp: spell, sport, spring, spoon
st: stay, stair, stand, stick
Post-task activities
1. 教师提供给学生一份从学校到本市动物园及动物园内部的路线图。让学生根据地图,自己设计一些问题,教师将问题写在黑板上。然后,让学生之间互相问答。
S1: What do you want to see at the zoo?
S2: Which animals do you like best? Why?
S3: How do you get to the zoo?

2. 学生分组,每组选定几种自己喜欢的动物, 并设计路线,编一段Go to the zoo的对话。然后,让学生之间互相听听他人的对话并给予一定评价。
