一、教学目标(Teaching aims)
1. 通过围绕Listen and say的练习活动,帮助学生巩固本单元的生词及句型。
2. 通过Play a game的语言输出活动实践新学的语言知识。
3. 帮助学生学习字母组合sl, sn及sw在单词中的发音。
二、教学重难点(Teaching points and difficulties)
1. 句型:What are you doing? I’m reading the map.
2. 语音:sl (slide), sn (snake), sw (swing)
三、教学准备(Teaching preparation)
课件、音频。
四、教学过程(Teaching process)
Pre-task preparations
1. 仿照Listen and say的故事安排一次“寻宝活动”。把地名如 Red Hill, North Lake, First Street, Second Street等贴在一些课桌上(代表hill的可以贴在桌面,lake的可以低一点,如椅子上。)绘制简单的地图。设定寻宝的目标,如教师的钢笔,然后给出以下指令,让学生按照地图寻找目标。
T: Let’s do a treasure hunt! See if you can find my pen.
T: Look at the map. First, find Red Hill. It’s near Second Street.
S1: Here’s Red Hill!
T: Very good! I have a letter for you. It says, “You can find the pen near Green Lake.” S2: Green Lake is here! Here's the pen!
2. 播放Listen and enjoy的歌谣,鼓励学生用Listen and say中的人物进行改编,提供reading the map, reading a letter, looking at the lake等短语。
S: Peter, Peter,
What are you doing?
I’m reading, I’m reading,
I’m reading the map.
While-task procedures
1. 安排学生扮演Alice, Peter, Joe及Kitty几个角色,分组表演对话。
2. 学生回答下面的问题,然后完成短文填空。
1) Where are the children? (They’re at Green Hill.)
2) What are they doing? (They’re looking for the Big Stone.)
3) Where’s the Big Stone? (It’s on Green Hill.)
4) What does the first letter say? (You can find a diamond at the top of Green Hill.)
5) What does the other letter say? (Look down and you can see the diamond.)
6) Do they see the diamond? (Yes.)
7) What is the diamond? (The lake.)
The children are at Green Hill. They are looking for the Big Stone, The Big Stone is on Green Hill. They read the map. They find the big Stone. There is a letter. It says, “You can find a diamond at the top of Green Hill” The children are at the top of Green Hill. They find another letter. It says, “Look down and you can see the diamond.” The children see a lake. It is like a big diamond.
3. 示范如何玩Play a game掷骰子的游戏,然后让学生分组玩游戏,帮助学生巩固核心句型。
T: Look! Here’s the map. Now let’s play a game. I get a “three”. So I go to Picture 3, but I have to answer a question before I go. What is the question?
Ss: What’s she doing?
T: She’s swimming.
Ss: Yes!
T: So I can move to Picture 3. Now let’s get into groups of four and have fun!
4. 出示Learn the sounds的语音单词卡片sl (slide), sn (snake)及sw (swing),请学生跟读并感知字母组合的发音。
T: sl, /sl/, slide, slide.
Ss: sl, /sl/, slide, slide.
T: sn, /sn/, snake, snake.
Ss: sn, /sn/, snake, snake.
T: sw, /sw/, swing, swing.
Ss: sw, /sw/, swing, swing.
然后,播放Learn the sounds的儿歌录音,请学生跟录音模仿朗读儿歌。鼓励学生模仿录音中的语音语调。还可把三个发音比较,让学生分类。
sl: slap, slow, sling
sn: snap, snow, snail, sneeze
sw: swap, sweet, sway?
Post-task activities
1. 让学生提供一些他们旅游时所拍的照片,做简单的介绍。可以用以下的问题引导。
1) Where are you?
2) Are there any lakes or hills? Can you see them?
3) Is it beautiful?
4) What are you doing?
2. 出示一些动画人物或任意人物的图片,让学生结对子,开火车轮流作答,反应越快越好。
T: (show a picture)
S1: What’s he doing?
S2: He’s eating some grapes.
T: (change to another picture)
S3: What are they doing?
S4: They’re looking at the stars.
