一、教学目标(Teaching aims)
1. 帮助学生学习Look and learn中的生词。
2. 通过Listen and say的情景对话,帮助学生掌握核心句型What are you doing?及其回答。
3. 通过Listen and enjoy活跃课堂气氛,操练核心句型。
二、教学重难点(Teaching points and difficulties)
1. 词汇:map, hill, find, another, lake, at the top of.
2. 句型:What are you doing? I’m reading the map.
三、教学准备(Teaching preparation)
课件、音频。
四、教学过程(Teaching process)
Pre-task preparations
1. 玩猜猜“我在做什么?”的游戏。让学生分成两组,活动时每组派出一人,领取写有一项家务活动的词组,如cleaning the table, washing clothes, washing the dishes, cleaning the window等,然后以动作表示,让自己的组员尽快猜出该家务活动是什么。
T: Let’s play a game. Who’d like to try? (S1’s name), please pick a card.
(S1 picks the card for cleaning the window. S1 mimes cleaning the window to his group.)
T: What’s (S1’s name) doing? Is he washing the dishes?
Ss: No.
T: What’s he doing?
Ss: He’s cleaning the window.
2. 播放Listen and enjoy中有关小熊一家的儿歌录音,让学生跟读。鼓励学生改编歌谣,可以提供一些动词,如talking, sleeping, writing, cleaning, singing等。
T: Let’s listen to a rhyme. It’s about a bear family. What are they doing? Listen carefully.
T: Now let’s write a new rhyme.
Papa Bear, Papa Bear What are you doing?
I’m writing, I’m writing,
Writing an email to Lingling.

While-task procedures
1. 出示一些风景照片,导入核心单词hill及lake。
T: Our friends are on an outing today. Do you like outings? What places do you like? (show a picture of hill) Do you like this place? This is a hill. H-I-L-L, hill.
Ss: H-I-L-L, hill.
T: (show a picture of lake). What about this place? It’s a place with water. It’s a lake. Do you know the West Lake? It’s a beautiful place in Hangzhou, China.
2. 和学生做快速反应游戏。出示山岗及湖泊的风景图片让学生快速说出是hill还是lake。可根据学生情况,拓展其他与地形地势相关的词汇,如forest, mountain, valley, river, pond, stream等。
3. 出示一幅知名风景区的地图,引出单词map, 并让学生标出hill, lake等。
T: This is a map. A map tells us where different places are, and how we can get to these places. Can you find lakes and hills in the map?
S1: There’s a lake near ... (place name).
S2: There’s a hill between the two lakes.
4. 呈现Listen and say寻宝的场景,引出对话的主题。
T: The children are on an outing today. They go to a beautiful place. They’re doing something very special too. They’re having a treasure hunt. They’re looking for something special.
让学生看图片、听录音、回答问题,检验学生对对话内容及关键词的掌握情况。
1) Where are they? (They are at Green Hill.)
2) How many children are on the treasure hunt? (Four.)
3) What are they looking for? ^They’re looking for a diamond.)
4) How many letters do they find at Green Hill? (Two.)
5) What does the first letter say? (It says, “You can find a diamond at the top of Green Hill.”)
之后,让学生再听一次录音,然后分角色朗读课文。
Post-task activities
1. 引导学生完成课本第53页Listen and say的后续练习,根据故事内容排列出先后顺序。
2. 教师用儿歌形式对关键词进行巩固性操练。
T: Let’s say a chant.
Runt, hunt, we are on a treasure hunt.
Look, look, we are looking for the letters. Read, read, we are reading the map.
Go, go! Let’s go, go, go!
Go to the lake, go to the hill.
Go to the hill, go to the lake.
