1. 帮助学生学习Look and learn中的生词。
2. 通过Listen and say的短文,帮助学生巩固现在进行时及学习现在进行时的一般疑问句。
3. 通过Listen and enjoy活跃气氛,操练核心句型。
二、教学重难点(Teaching points and difficulties)
1. 词汇:beach, enjoy, collect, sea, on holiday, have a good time.
2. 句型:Is Paul collecting shells? Yes, he is.

课件、音频。
四、教学过程(Teaching process)
Pre-task preparations
1. 出示一些海滩及大海的照片,学习Look and learn的词汇,并导入主题。
T: Look at these photos. It’s the beach.
It’s the sea. What can you do at the beach?
S1: We can swim in the sea.
S2: We can make sandcastles.
S3: We can collect shells.
S4: We can play beach volleyball.
2. 用多媒体呈现的歌谣及图片,挖空有动词的部分。播放歌谣,让学生根据录音完成填空。
While-task procedures
1. 让学生看图片,听短文,回答教师的问题,引出学习的主题。
T: Who are they?
S1: The Browns.
T: How many people are there in their family?
S2: There are five.
T: Who are they?
S3: They’re Sally, Peter, Paul, Mr Brown aud Mrs Brown.
T: Where are they?
S4: They’re in Sanya.
T: What are they doing?
S5: They’re spending their holiday at the beach in Sanya.
2. 接着,让学生根据教师的提示进行快速“接龙”比赛。
T: The Browns are on holiday in Sanya, (point to Paul quickly) Paul is...
S1: (stand up and say as quickly as possible) Collecting shells.
T: The Browns are on holiday in Sanya, (point to Sally quickly) Sally is...
S2: (stand up and say as quickly as posS1ble) Enjoying the sunshine.
3. 学生以大组为单位,用几分钟时间准备一下,组内的学生看图根据黑板上的提示每人讲一句话,试着将短文复述出来。
S1: The Browns are on holiday in Sanya.
S2: It’s a nice day.
S3: The sky is blue and the clouds are white.
S4: Sally is enjoying the sunshine.
S5: Peter is reading a book.
接着,请个别学生试着看图复述语段。
4. 让学生完成课本第47页Listen and say的后续练习,引出现在进行时的问句Is he/she ...? Are they…? 和答句。
T: Is Sally S1tting beS1de Paul?
S1: No, she isn’t.
T: Is Mrs Brown collecting shells?
S2: Yes, she is.
学生结对子,看图互相问答。也可以不看图,根据记忆互相问答。
Post-task activities
1. 用场景中的人物改编Listen and enjoy中的歌谣,如:
Is Sally collecting shells?
No, she isn’t. No, she isn’t.
Sally is enjoying the sunshine
At the beach.
2. 出示一些动画人物的图片,短暂出现两秒,让学生依靠记忆进行问答。
T: This is Sam. Is Sam eating dinner?
S1: No, he isn’t.

S2: He’s playing basketball.

2. 通过Stick and say的开放型活动,鼓励学生大胆运用新学的语言知识。
3. 通过Learn the sounds,帮助学生了解字母组合fr, gr及tr在单词中的发音。

Pre-task preparations
1. 学生齐唱在Unit 6学过的歌曲London Bridge is falling down。然后,学生用现在进行时的句子自由替换歌词,进行表演唱。
Peter Brown is collecting shells, collecting shells, collecting shells.
Peter Brown is collecting shells at the beach.
2. 玩动作扮演游戏。教师准备好纸牌,写上动词,让一学生模仿,同学猜猜该学生正在做什么。
T: (show the card collecting shells to S1 only)
S1: (mime collecting shells)
S2: Is he/she cleaning the table?
T: No, he/she isn’t.
S3: Is he/she collecting shells?
T: Yes, he/she is!
While-task procedures
1. 和学生玩快速反应游戏,帮助学生巩固Listen and say的内容,操练现在进行时的一般疑问句及其应答。
T: Now let’s do quick response. Please answer my questions as quickly as you can. We’ll have a competition between boys and girls.
T: Are the Browns on holiday in Sanya?
G1: (clap her hands) Yes, they are.
T: Correct! One point for girls, (mark a score on the blackboard for girls)
T: Is Peter collecting shells?
G2: Yes, he is.
T: Sorry, you’re wrong. Is Peter reading a book?
B1: Yes, he is.
T: You’re right. One point for boys, (mark a score on the blackboard for boys)
2. 给学生示范如何就Ask and answer栏目的图片来对话。
T: Look at this photo. Is Mr Brown swimming?
S1: No, he isn’t.
T: What’s he doing?
S1: He’s reading a book.
然后,请学生两人一组根据栏目中的图片自编对话。再请学生将自编的小对话表演出来。
3. 学生以小组为单位,展示用于Stick and say的图片,互相问答。介绍图片中的人物及其活动,并向班级展示。
4. 出示Learn the sounds中的语音单词卡片fr (fruit), gr (grandpa)及tr (tree),请学生跟读并感知字母组合的发音。
T: fr, /fr/, fruit, fruit.
Ss: fr, /fr/, fruit, fruit.
T: gr, /gr/, grandpa, grandpa.
Ss: gr, /gr/, grandpa, grandpa.

然后,教师播放Learn the sounds的儿歌录音,请学生跟录音模仿朗读儿歌。鼓励学生模仿录音中的语音语调。
Post-task activities
1. 学生分组,将Stick and say的图片集中起来,并给每幅图配上文字,介绍图片中的人物及其活动,然后设计版式,将小组作品做成相册或海报,贴在教室的墙上展示。
2. 学生分组画出一大片沙滩,从杂志或网上收集图片,把有关海滩活动的图片贴到海滩上,分组向班级展示图片并介绍图片内容。看哪一组内容最丰富。完成后可以收集作品,贴在教室的墙上展示。

2. 通过学习任务(Task),帮助学生巩固和综合运用本单元所学的知识和技能。

1. 词汇:letter, put, know, year.
2. 日常用语:It’s fun.
三、教学准备(Teaching preparation)
课件、音频。
四、教学过程(Teaching process)
Pre-task preparations
1. 利用Learn the sounds中的歌谣,让学生改编为现在进行时,然后一起朗诵,或挖空动词,听录音填空。
Grandpa is growing some fruit,
Some fruit on the trees.
Grandpa is giving me some fruit,
Some fruit from his trees.
2. 学生以At the beach为主题,根据上一节课准备的海滩的图准备一段话,向班级汇报。然后教师可以利用材料进行问答比赛。
While-task procedures
1. 向学生逐一出示Say and act的五幅图片,让学生根据图片的内容与教师、同学进行讨论,在讨论和揣测的过程中了解对话的内容,并理解部分拓展词汇的含义。
T: (show Picture 1) Where are the children?
Ss: They’re at the beach.
T: (point to Sally) What’s Sally doing?
S1: She’s swimming in the sea.
T: Look at the boys. What are they talking about? Discuss in pairs.
S2: Hi, let’s play volleyball.
S3: OK.
S4: What are you doing?
T: What are they talking about? Let’s listen, (play recording)
T: What are they talking about? Who can act it out?
S6: Let’s go swimming, Peter.
S7: Sorry, Pm busy.
接着,教师与学生一起以同样的方式来讨论图2至图5。
最后,在学生理解对话内容的基础上,让学生听对话的完整录音,以构成一个完整的语境。
2. 完成课本第49页Say and act的后续练习。使用以下问题引导学生写出答案。
1) What are Peter and Paul doing? (They’re talking.)
2) What’s Sally doing? (She’s swimming.)
3) What’s Peter doing? What does he want to put in the bottle? (He’s writing a letter. He wants to put the letter in the bottle.)
4) What does Sally get? What’s she doing? (She gets a bottle. She’s reading the letter.)
3. 学生看着图片,听录音,模仿对话中的语音语调,分角色朗读对话。学生分组、分角色进行对话练习,然后分组表演对话。
4. 设计一些场景,让学生自编对话,操练现在进行时。

S1: Alice is playing football. Let’s play football too.
S2: Sorry, I’m busy.
S1: Are you doing your homework?

Post-task activities
1. 根据Say and act的对话内容,请学生想一想如果漂流瓶飘到远方,被其他孩子捡到的话,他会怎么做,让学生分组讨论。然后请学生仿照Peter做一张纸条,折成纸飞机飞出,看看哪位同学捡到自己的纸飞机。
S: Oh, it’s a letter. It’s from ... (name), (read the letter) Hello, I’m ... (name). I’m from Class One. I,m ... (age). Who are you?
2. 学生与同桌根据《练习册》Task中的Look, ask and answer的图片,参考提供的问题进行问答,然后根据回答后确认的信息完成Think and write.
