一、教学目标(Teaching aims)
1. 通过Sing a song活跃课堂气氛。
2. 通过Look and learn栏目,帮助学生学习房间的名称。
3. 通过Listen and say的情景对话,帮助学生掌握本单元的核心句型。

1. 词汇:living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, do ... homework.
2. 句型:I’m doing my homework.

四、教学过程(Teaching process)
Pre-task preparations
1. 学生欣赏并跟唱Sing a song的歌曲London Bridge is falling down。可以设计动作,让学生边唱边表演,让学生感受falling的含义。
T: What’s falling down?
Ss: London Bridge is falling down.
2. 和学生讨论喜欢做的事情。
T: What do you like doing?
S1: I like reading.
S2: I like Playing with my dog.
While-task procedures
1. 出示家中各房间的照件,教授各个房间的单词。
T: This is my room. There’s a bed, a desk and a wardrobe. I sleep here. It’s my bedroom.
Ss: Bedroom.
出示Look and learn中的图片,教授 bathroom, living room及kitchen。然后问答操练上述四个单词。
1) Is your living room/bedroom big or small? (It’s big/small.)
2) What’s in your living room/bedroom...? (There’s a sofa, a TV, ... /a bed, a table and a chair...)
3) What do you do in your living room/ bedroom...? (I watch TV, play games/ sleep, read books ...)
诵读儿歌,巩固上述四个单词(见“参考资料”)。
T: Where’s the living room? Next to the bedroom.
Where’s the bedroom? Next to the bathroom.
2. 教授句型I am ... (doing).教师一边做动作,一边运用句型I am ... (doing)教授现在进行时并板书出示。
T: I like reading. Now I’m reading a book, (mime reading a book)
I like running. Now I’m running, (mime running) What about you?
S1: I like drawing. Now I’m drawing.
板书动词的-ing变化,学生朗读,并观察其变化形式。

出示更多的动词-ing形式让学生朗读。
play-playing, come-coming ...
3. 出示Kitty家的平面图,导入栏目Listen and say.
T: This is a picture of Kitty’s house. Look, Kitty is in the living room. Ben is in his bedroom. Kitty’s mum is in the bathroom and Kitty’s dad is in the kitchen.
出示Listen and say的图片,学生用现在进行时描述图片。
1) Kitty is doing her homework in the living room.
2) Ben is making a model plane in his bedroom.
3) Mrs Li is washing her hair in the bathroom.
4) Mr Li is cooking dinner in the kitchen.
4. 播放Listen and say的录音,学生跟读课文,然后引导学生选择填空完成下面的表格。
Places: bedroom bathroom kitchen

Activities: doing ... homework cooking dinner
making a model plane
washing ... hair
Where (is ...)?

然后根据表格提问,学生回答问题。

1. 学生完成课本第37页Listen and say的后续练习,然后开展对子活动,两人一问一答。
S1: Kitty, Kitty, where are you?
S2: I’m in the bedroom.

S2: I’m doing my homework.
S1: Ben, Ben, where are you?
S2: I’m in the bedroom.

2. 学生根据Listen and say课文内容填空完成短文A busy family。还可鼓励学生仿照描述自己家庭的情况。
A busy family
Hello! I’m Kitty. I have a busy family. Look! This is my dad. Now he’s cooking dinner. Ben, my brother, is making a model plane in the bedroom. My mum is washing her hair in the bathroom. Where am I? I’m doing my homework in the living room. How busy we are!

Pre-task preparations
1. 学生欣赏并跟唱Sing a song的歌曲London Bridge is falling down。
2. 鼓励学生用一般进行时改编歌曲,并试着演唱。

In the bathroom.
While-task procedures
1. 与学生一起制作Play a game使用的纸牌。根据学生的程度,可拓展其他场所,如学校中的教室,及其他动词词组,如read a book, fly a kite, have dinner等。
玩Play a game中的游戏。按场地、活动分成两组纸牌,参加的学生各抽取一张,并根据抽中的组合回答问题。如组合不合理,学生或教师可质疑,以加深印象。
S1: Where are you? What are you doing?
S2: I’m in my bedroom. I’m cooking dinner. T: Can we cook dinner in the bedroom?
Ss: No!
3. 出示课本Think and write的图片,分别对四人的位置、动作进行描述。
T: This is a picture of Peter’s family. Where’s Mrs Brown?
S1: She’s in the living room.
T: What’s Mrs Brown doing? Let’s ask her together.
Ss: Mrs Brown, Mrs Brown, what are y011 j doing?
S2: I’m reading.
T: Mrs Brown is reading in the living room.
4. 学生结对子,对Think and write的图片逐一进行问答,并将完整的句子填写在横线上。
S1: Where’s Mrs Brown?
S2: She’s in the living room.
S1: What’s Mrs Brown doing in the living room?
S2: She’s reading in the living room.

1. 学生制作自己一天的时间表,然后结对子,交换时间表,互相问答。
S1: It’s Six o’clock in the morning. Where are you? What are you doing?
S2: Pm in my bedroom. I’m sleeping.

S2: I’m at school. I’m having lunch.
2. 学生设计一栋自己喜欢的房子,画出平面图,标出自己和家人所在的位置,然后向班级展示介绍。

1. 让学生跟着节奏朗读课本第57页儿歌,鼓励学生改编儿歌。

2. 师生问答,提醒学生注意一般现在时与现在进行时的区别。
T: What do you usually do in the evening?
S1: I usually do my homework in the evening.
S2: I usually watch TV in the evening.
T: What are you doing now?
S3: I’m taking my English lesson.
While-task procedures
1. 利用照片、多媒体等,介绍有关Earth Hour的背景知识。
T: Earth Hour is on the last Saturday of March each year. On that day, from 8:30 to 9:30 in the evening, people turn off the lights to help save energy.
2. 播放Say and act的录音,学生听课文录音,回答问题,完成表格。

然后与学生互相问答,帮助学生进一步理解课文。
1) What do people do during Earth Hour? (People turn off the lights at home.)

4) What does Kitty usually do before bedtime? (She usually reads storybooks before bedtime.)

3. 学生根据课文内容,完成课本第39页Say and act的后续练习。然后核对答案。
4. 出示一组含有字母组合bi及cr的单词,请学生跟读感受字母组合的发音。如bread, bring, breakfast, cream, cry, crane 等。
T: br, /br/, bread, bread.
Ss: br, /br/, bread, bread.
T: cr, /cr/, cream, cream.
Ss: cr, /cr/, cream, cream.
然后播放儿歌录音,请学生跟录音模仿朗读儿歌数遍。鼓励学生模仿录音中的语音语调。还可挖空单词中红色字母组合的部分,让学生听录音后填空,区br及cr。
Post-task activities
1. 学生四人一组,表演Say and act的对话。还可以让学生模仿课文,小组成员之间互相采访,并按照课文格式进行小组对话,畅想一下他们在“地球一小时”可以做些什么。

2. 首先,请每位学生按要求完成《练习册》Task中Think and write的表格,然后让学生自愿结对,参考Ask and answer提供的问题,询问对方家庭周六上午的活动情况。最后,作为回家作业,请学生根据自己填写的表格信息,完成Think and write。
