一、教学目标(Teaching aims)
1. 帮助学生学习Look and learn中的生词,通过问答、小组卡片游戏等活动帮助学生巩固词汇。
2. 通过调查活动,帮助学生学习句型Do you usually play football?
3. 帮助学生学习字母组合sh在单词中的发音。
二、教学重难点(Teaching points and difficulties)
1. 词汇:always, usually, often, sometimes, never.
2. 句型:Do you usually play football?
三、教学准备(Teaching preparation)
课件、音频。
四、教学过程(Teaching process)
Pre-task preparations
1. 展示一些休闲活动的照片,询问学生的休闲活动情况。
T: Do you like playing football?
S1: Yes, I do.
T: When do you play football?
S1: I play football on Saturday afternoon.
T: Who do you play with?
S1: I play with my friends.
2. 在黑板上列出一些活动,如play football, go swimming, play the piano, read books, do my homework等,询问学生进行这些活动的频率。然后根据学生回答给不同的活动标上星星。如进行的次数比较频繁,打五颗星星,很少进行该活动的,打一颗星星。
T: (S1’s name), you said you like playing football. How often do you do it? Every day? S1: No.
T: How many times a week? Once? Twice?
S1: Twice.

While-task procedures
1. 教授频度副词always, usually, often, sometimes。教师根据上面活动的表格,做出总结。
T: (S1’s name) brushes his teeth every day. He always brushes his teeth in the morning and in the evening.
列出Look and learn中的频度副词,并在相应的单词后放上数量不同的星星(可参照Look and learn中进度条长度),依次为 always, usually, often, sometimes, never。never后不放星星。举例让学生感受频度副词。
T: (S1’s name) likes playing football. Does he play football every day? No. He plays on Monday and Tuesday. (S1’s name) sometimes plays football.
2. 介绍自己的生活习惯,让学生进一步理解频度副词。
T: I’m a teacher. I always get up at half past six. I usually leave home at seven o’clock. I often get to my office at a quarter to eight. I’m never late for work. I always eat lunch at school. I usually go home at half past four. I sometimes go to the supermarket after work. I often cook dinner for my family. Sometimes I eat at a restaurant.
然后就以上内容向学生提问。
1) Do I get up at half past S1x every day? (Yes.)
2) Do I go home at half past four every day? (No.)
3) Do I go to the supermarket every day? (No.)
4) Do I cook for my family every day? (No.)
3. 学生抽取写有频度副词、活动及星期的卡片,根据所抽到的卡片组成问句,然后互相问答。

S1: Do you usually go to school at half past seven?
S2: Yes, I do.
然后以What do you usually do after school? 或 What do you usually do on Saturday? 为题,让学生描述他们放学后或周末进行什么活动。
S1: I always go home after school.
S2: I sometimes take piano lessons after school.
S3: I never ride a bike after school.
4. 出示Learn the sounds的语音单词卡片sh (fish, dish),请学生跟读单词,感受sh在单词中的发音。
T: sh, III, dish, dish.
Ss: sh, /J/, dish, dish.
T: sh, /J7, wash, wash.
Ss: sh, /J/, wash, wash.
然后,教师播放Learn the sounds的录音,请学生跟录音模仿朗读儿歌。鼓励学生模仿 录音中的语音语调。可综合复习Units1-4所学,与sk, sp, st比较,读出几个单词,让学生归类。

sp: wasp, crisp
st: toast, postman
sh: fish, wash

1. 学生分组,讨论平日的活动,完成以下表格。

1. 词汇:visit, play sport
2. 句型:What do you usually do with your grandparents? I usually play chess with my grandpa.

Pre-task preparations
1. 让学生出示一些家中长辈的照片,介绍一下自己的祖父母。
S: This is my grandmother. She likes cooking. She goes to the market every day.
2. 询问学生与祖父母的生活情况。
T: Do you live with your grandparents?
S1: Yes, I do. / No, I don’t.
T: What do you usually do with your grandparents?
S2: I usually go shopping with my grandparents.
While-task procedures
1. 学生带着问题听Listen and say的课文录音,然后通过问答检验学生是否听懂对话。
1) Who usually plays chess with her grandpa? (Alice usually plays chess with her grandpa.)
2) Whose grandparents live far away? (Kitty’s grandparents live far away from her home.) |
3) Whose grandparents live in the UK? (Peter’s grandparents live in the UK.)
2. 学生独立阅读课文,然后填空完成有关人物与活动的表格。

S2: This is Joe. He lives with his grandparents. He always watches TV with them. He often chats with them. Sometimes he goes shopping with them.
2. 让学生制作一本相册,贴上自己与祖父母的照片,先口述照片内容再写下来。

2. 通过Culture comer帮助学生了解不同国家的老人节。
3. 通过学习任务(Task),帮助学生巩固和综合运用本单元所学的知识和技能。

Pre-task preparations
1. 出示一些重阳节的照片,与学生讨论。

2. 出示照片介绍Grandparents’ Day。与学生讨论可以为祖父母做什么事。
T: Grandparents’ Day is a festival in the US. It’s on a Sunday in September. Children always do something for their grandparents on this day. What do you do for your grandparents?
S1: I sometimes help my grandma wash the dishes.
S2: I always read books to my grandparents.
While-task procedures
1. 播放Read a story中故事Where is Grandma? 的动画或录音,通过以下问题帮助学生了解故事大意。
1) Who are the children? (Mary and John.)
2) What do Mary and John usually do with Grandma? (They sometimes go shopping with Grandma.)
3) When do Mary and John want to meet Grandma? (At twelve o’clock on Saturday.)
4) Is Grandma at the bus stop on Saturday? (No, she isn’t.)
5) Who takes Mary and John to Granma’s home? (Grandma’s dog, Coco.)
6) Why doesn’t Grandma go to the bus stop? (She thinks it’s Friday.)
2. 列出不同人物说的话,让学生进行配对,考查学生的记忆力及对课文的理解能力。

3. 让学生猜一下故事的发展。

然后让学生想象人物见面后可能说的话,完成课本第27页Read a story的后续练习。
4. 列出故事中的一些句子,让学生通过阅读,给句子排序。

(4) Coco takes Mary and John home.
(1) Mary talks to Grandma on the phone.
Post-task activities
1. 学生五人一组,演出课本剧。帮助学生安排角色和整理对白。
2. 根据《练习册》中的Task,学生以四人为一组,通过读Look and write中的图,每个学生完成对一幅图的描述,并在四幅图的前面加一两句旁白,如:Little Bear lives with his grandparents.然后学生在组内进行交流,讨论和完成Think and guess中的表格。最后,作为回家作业,请学生根据组内讨论的结果完成Think and write。
