一、教学内容分析
这是本单元的第六课,该部分为四篇配图的小短文。在四幅图片的帮助下描述了四个季节的特点以及机器人Robin表达对四季的喜好之情。重在复习本单元重点内容:表示季节的单词、 关于天气的单词,以及不同季节活动的短语动词;最后写出对季节的喜好、喜欢某个季节的理由。
二、教学对象分析
本课时的授课对象是五年级学生。他们对季节这个话题再熟悉不过了,都有自己喜欢的季节以及在不同的季节里做不同的活动。孩子们一定会对本单元“季节”这一话题表现出浓厚的兴趣。在本单元前五课时中,学生已经学习了表示季节的单词、日常活动的短语动词及如何询问并回答对季节的喜好、喜欢某个季节的理由,本课时重在复习、练习并检测重点内容。
三、教学目标
1. 语言知识目标:
(1)能够在图片的帮助下读懂对四季的描述以及机器人Robin对四季喜好和理由的表达。
(2)能够根据教学内容回答对四季喜好的问题,完成句子的填写活动。
2. 语言技能目标:
能够在句式结构的提示下写出自己喜欢的季节及理由。

(一)重点:能够读懂对四季的描述以及机器人Robin对四季喜好和理由的表达;能够解决读后问题。
(二)难点:能够在句式结构的提示下写出自己喜欢的季节及理由。

Step I. Show the learning aims. (示标示导) (1分钟)

【设计意图】本课时学习目标的制定是以新《课标》为依据,基于单元课时内容的基础上,结合本班学情的实际所量身制定的。本课时五维目标(即语言知识目标、语言技能目标、情感态度目标、学习策略目标和文化意识目标)齐全,较好地体现了目标的人文性与工具性。

【设计意图】通过从学生感兴趣的话题入手,进行问答练习,通过这个活动,既可以激活学生大脑和已有知识储备,让学生大胆开口说英语。又可以活跃课堂气氛让学生尽快地进入英语学习状态。复习本单元四季的单词和重点句型,为本节课的学习打好基础。
Step III. To learn first and then teach (先学后教) (20分钟左右)

【设计意图】:通过讨论同学们最喜欢的季节,再过渡到Robin 喜欢的季节真正起到了环环相扣的作用。

【设计意图】:默读也是阅读的一种重要方式,特别是在刚接触文本资料时,采取默读对学生来说能更好的的把握文本意思与内涵。通过完成阅读中出现的不同任务,让学生不断了解文本;通过学法指导,让学生掌握阅读方法和技巧,培养良好的阅读习惯。
(1)Listen to the tape and read after the tape. Pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation.
(2)T:Read the dialogue loudly .Circle the words or sentences you don’t know. Discuss in your groups. If you can’t solve, I’ll help you. The Ss’ solve questions in groups: Do you have any questions?
【设计意图】通过学生自主朗读,发现问题,小组内解决一部分简单的问题,较难的问题老师带领学生共同解决,这样做提高了学生发现问题,解决问题的能力,培养了学生的小组合作意识,同时提高了阅读技巧和能力。
Step IV Production 拓展提升(5分钟左右)

【设计意图】通过这些活动,创造了一个开放的语言交际环境,让学生积极动起来,对所学的句型进行充分的练习,并练习了学生写作能力。
Step V Summary(归纳小结)(1分钟左右)
1. Do self-evaluation.
Let the Ss think over what they have learned in this class. And then encourage several Ss to sum up. If necessary, the teacher gives much more advice in details.
2. Let’s see which group is the best (The best group must behave better and got more scores than any other group.).
【设计意图】创设自主评价与平台,引导学生进行自主总结评价本节课所学,一方面可以让学生感知本节课习得知识的掌握程度,另一方面有利于培养学生养成自我评价、自我总结的良好学习习惯。小组合作总结性评价是对课堂上小组合作学习效果的认可度的真实反馈,便于激励先进,鞭策后进,从而全面调动学生学习英语的积极性,提高学生学习英语的自信力。
Step VI Test in class(训练达标)(10分钟左右)
1. Tell the Ss about the demands of the test and have them finish it by themselves in 5 minutes.
2. Show the keys to the test.
3. Let the Ss discuss the mistakes that he/she has made in the test in groups. If necessary, they can ask the teacher for help.
【设计意图】要求学生在规定的时间内有效完成当堂检测,不仅确保了学生在课堂上的学习时间,逼真地营造“真考”紧张的氛围,检测了学生对本堂课的知识与技能的掌握情况,同时通过这种即时检测又保证了学习(教学)目标的可控、可测与可实现,提升了教学效率。
