Pre-task preparations
1. 带领学生一起念一首熟悉的英语儿歌，如 Unit 4 Listen and enjoy的以起到课前热身的效果。
2. 呈现Sing a song栏目的图片或动画，让学生边看边欣赏歌曲，在语境中初步感受新知，为接下去的新授内容打下伏笔。
While-task procedures
1. 在学生欣赏歌曲之后分别就歌词中的三个名词进行教学。指着教室里面的黑板、门和窗，引出单词blackboard , door和window,然后出示这三个单词的卡片，让学生跟读单词数遍。

2. 让学生四人一组，分组做快速反应游戏。逐一出示三张生词卡片，各组学生进行抢答，说出与图片对应的英语单词。

3. 用替换歌词的方法改编Learn the letters栏目的儿歌,并让学生跟读，以帮助学生巩固所学单词。

4. 请学生学唱Sing a song的歌曲In the classroom,并配以相应的动作，让学生感知clean, close, open的含义。教师可先示范，一边做动作一边唱,然后师生一起跟着录音边做动作边唱。待学生熟练后，可分声部唱，也可男女对唱。
Post-task activities
1. 出示一张教室的图片，图片的下方是Kitty说的一段话。教师课前需要自己准备一段录音，内容是对图中教室的描述，请学生边听录音，边用手指出相应的物品。

然后，请全班学生一起跟着录音仿说几遍。接下来，请学生各自试着朗读图中Kitty的话。最后，请个别学生来扮演Kitty的角色，上台来试着说说看。
2. 教师做示范介绍自己的教室，教师走到相应的物品前对教室内的物品进行介绍。然后请个别学生来介绍。
