Pre-task preparations
1. 带领学生诵读Listen and enjoy的儿歌，可以要求学生把用pears, orange, bananas等单词创编的另外三段儿歌连起来诵读。
2. 用实物或卡片呈现一个大的梨和一个小的梨，请学生跟读一首关于梨的儿歌，引出a big pear和a small pear。
A big pear, a small pear,
I can see.
A big pear for you.
A small pear for me.
A big pear, a small pear,
For you and me.
While-task procedures
1. 让学生读一遍Enjoy a story的故事，在图片的帮助下初步领略故事的情节。然后，让学生再读一遍故事，通过边看边交流的方式帮助学生理解故事的内容。

T: Who are they in the picture?
Ss: Kong Rong, his brother and his father.
T: (point to the boys in the picture respectively) Who is Kong Rong, the big boy or the small boy?
Ss: The small boy.
T：Yes.(point to the pears in the picture) What are they? Apples or pears?
Ss: Pears.
最后，让学生在理解故事内容的基础上再完整地读一遍故事。呈现挂图中的四张故事片和打乱顺序的对话文字，让学生将图片与对话配对。
2. 播放Enjoy a story的录音或动画。让学生跟着录音读课文。然后自己选择扮演故事中的一个角色，再次跟着录音轻声朗。请学生自由组合，分角色给故事中的人物配音。
3. 用挂图向学生呈现Enjoy a story的图片，请学生根据该故事情节，参考故事中人物的语句，用自己的话来分角色表演。学生可以先分组讨论，然后分组排练，最后在课堂上表演。通过故事表演，帮助学生提炼出故事中的寓意:在平时生活中要懂得谦让。

S2: (act as Kong Rong’s brother) Thank you, Dad.
S3: (act as Kong Rong) Thank you, Dad.
S3: This pear is small. It’s for me. (to S2) This pear is big. It’s for you. Here you are.

4. 出示字母Oo，Pp和Qq的卡片，帮助学生认读和书写这三个字母。然后播放Learn the letters栏目的儿歌，让学生跟着录音学读儿歌。最后，带领全体学生按照字母表的顺序将已经学过的字母Aa至Qq背诵一遍。接着，教师出示其中某个字母卡片, 要求学生以最快的速度念出相应的字母。

Post-task activities
1. 让学生完成《练习册》Task的第一部分。创设情境，请学生帮助教师完成一个购物的任务。如：今天大家要做一个水果拼盘，需要购买一些水果。可以先请学生分组讨论一下,并列一个购物单，然后，各组学生说一说他们的购物单。
2. 让学生做《练习册》Task的第二部分的活动。 教师用单词卡片和水果图片等在教室里分别布置几个模拟的水果店，请几个学生扮演水果店店主的角色。其余的学生以小组为单位，根据购物单，分别到几个模拟水果店里去购买水果，并合作完成一个模拟的水果拼盘。最后，选出任务完成得最快, 且水果拼盘做得最好的一组学生。
