一、教学目标(Teaching aims)
1. 通过歌曲等活动帮助学生巩固Look and learn中所学的数词。
2. 引导学生学习Listen and say栏目的核心句型。
3.通过Play a game的对话操练和Say and act栏目的角色扮演等活动让学生,进一步掌握本单元所学的数词和句型。

四、教学过程(Teaching process)
Pre-task preparations
1.用多媒体呈现本单元Say and act栏目,带领学生边听录音边打拍子跟读课文,这样既能复习课时一所学的数词,也能为引入本课时的句型教学做铺垫。
2. 用多媒体呈现Listen and say的图片,先引导学生用This is ...来说说图上有些什么。对于基础较好的学生,教师还可以引导他们对图片做一些细节描述。
T: Look at the picture, (point to the picture) Look, this is a boy. (His hair is short.) This is a door. (It is closed.) Now who will try?
S1: (point to the picture) This is a girl. (Her hair is long.) This is a window. (It is clean.)
S2: (point to the picture) This is a dog. This is a cat.
S3: (point to the picture) This is a cat. (It is big.)
While-task procedures
1. 播放Listen and say的录音,让学生边看课文边跟读;随后教师板书句型How many boys? Three boys.并进行适当讲解,以帮助学生理解。
2. 让学生分角色表演Listen and say的对话。如:男生扮演Ben,女生扮演Kitty,把全班分成两个大组,就Listen and say图片中的物品做更多的对话练习。也可以请个别男生和女生两人一组练习对话。
S1: How many cats?
S2: Five cats.
3. 让学生数一数Play a game栏目各种水果的数量,然后让他们通过对子活动操练句型How many …?
S1: How many apples?
S2: Six apples.
S1: How many pears?
S2: Seven pears,
用挂图呈现水果和文具的图片,让学生两人一组操练对话。
S1: How many schoolbags?
S2: Two schoolbags.
4. 用多媒体呈现Say and act的动画,让学生边跟着说边模仿做动作,帮助记忆数词和句型。
Post-task activities
1. 让学生模仿Listen and say的对话,就教室里的物品数量做问答练习。可以先让学生同桌之间回答教室里有多少扇门窗、有多少桌椅等;最后,请几组学生上台表演对话。教师需要给出一些未学的名词和数词的提示。
S1: Look,…This is our classroom. How many doors?
S2: Two doors.
S1: How many windows?
S2: One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Eight windows.
S1: You’re right. How many desks?
S2: 20 desks.
S1: How many chairs?
S2: 40 chairs.
S1: How many boys?
S2: 26 boys.
S1: How many girls?
S2: 14 girls.

2. 引导学生改编Say and act的内容,进行替换操练,如:
One, two. Put on my shoes/coat...
Three,four. Close/Clean the door.
Five, six. Count the pigs/dogs/...
Seven, eight. Close the gate.
Nine, ten. Count them again.
How many pigs/dogs/...?
