Pre-task preparations
1. 播放一首有关小动物的儿歌,让学生边听边跟说。
2. 请学生就课时二做过的猜谜游戏进行一次小组比赛。请每一组派一个代表讲一个谜语,其他小组的学生猜谜语中所描述的小动物是什么。哪一组猜中的谜语最多就获胜。
While-task procedures
1.播放Enjoy a story栏目的录音,让学生看着课文跟读。帮助学生复习Listen and say学过的核心句型What is it?和Unit7学过的日常用语I’m sorry.同时也要通过示范让他们理解日常用语Well done!的含义和正确用法。
2. 向学生呈现Enjoy a story栏目的小动物和小昆虫的图片,引导他们一起讨论小动物和小昆虫的身体特征。可根据学生的情况决定是否拓展一些新词,如wing。
T: (point to the big cat in picture 1) This is a mother cat. Its ears are small. Its tail is long.
(point to the small cat in picture 1) This is a baby cat. Its ears are small. Its tail is long. Its legs are fat too.
(point to the butterfly in picture 2) This is a butterfly.(point to the wings of the butterfly) It has wings. Wings, wings, wings.
Ss: Wings, wings, wings.
T: Are its wings big or small?
Ss: They’re big.
T: Yes. Its wings are big.
(point to the bee in picture 3) Look here,it’s a bee. (point to the wings of the bee) It has wings too. Wings, wings, wings.
Ss: Wings, wings, wings.
T: Are its wings big or small?
Ss: They’re small.
3.用挂图呈现Enjoy a story的图片,让学生分角色表演。然后,请学生讨论一下从这个故事中学到什么,并帮助学生总结。
4.让学生按字母表的顺序一起来背诵之前学过的字母Aa至Ww。然后出示Learn the letters 中字母Xx、Yy和Zz的卡片,帮助学生认读这三个字母。最后,呈现Learn the letters栏的儿歌,让学生跟着录音诵读儿歌。
Post-task activities
1. 根据Enjoy a story栏目的故事提供-些语段,让学生做图文配练习。如:
(Picture 1) One day, I go fishing with my mother
(Picture 2) A butterfly comes. It’s beautiful.
(Picture 3) A bee comes. Its wings are small. It's cute.
(Picture 4) I play with the butterfly and the bee. My mother catches a big fish.
(Picture 5) I come back. I say sorry to my mother.
(Picture 6) I catch a fish. I am happy. My mother is happy too.
2. 让学生做《练习册》Task第一部分。学生先看动物线条图,选择一种动物涂色,然后说一说。
S1: Look at the animal. It is a ... It is ... Its... is/are...
然后让学生根据Task第二部分的范例,四人一组玩猜谜游戏。每次由一个学生拿一张动物图,其他学生轮流猜测。
S1: Is it big?
S2: Yes./No.
S1: Is its tail long?
S2: Yes./No.
S1: Are its ears long?
S2: Yes./No. What is it?
