三、通过谈论喜好、评论事物等话题加深对某一事物的了解，增强文化意识。 定语是用来限定、修饰名词或代词的，如：a blue pen, his name, The boy in the classroom等等。在这里，blue, his, in the classroom这些单词或词组都叫作定语。但有的时候，定语的内涵很丰富，用单词或词组都不足以把意思表达完整。于是就用一个句子来作定语。在复合句中修饰名词或代词的从句叫做定语从句。
例如： I like music that I can dance to. 我喜欢可以随之跳舞的音乐。
又如：I prefer singers who can write their own songs. 我喜爱能自己写歌的歌星。
