T: Who can tell me about the present perfect tense? How is it used? From the sentences you have just completed, can you tell me how the present perfect tense is formed and when it is used?

现在完成时是由助动词 “have (has)+动词的过去分词”构成；
肯定形式：have/has + done 否定形式：have/has + not +done 一般疑问句：have或has放于句首

T: We all know that country music changed Sarah’s life forever and her favorite singer is Garth Brooks. Now work in pairs to talk about your own favorite singer or writer.You may use the following questions as a guide.

4. What famous songs/books has he/she recorded/written? When?

T：Now it’s time for you to write about the singer or writer you like best. Here are some words and phrases you can use. You can also use the information you discussed with you partner.
(当学生在写作时，可以在教室里走动，随时提供帮助给学生，写作完成后，可以让学生互评)
Sample:
My favorite singer is John Denver. A few years ago, I listened to his song Country Road Take Me Home by chance.
