备课设计
针对阅读课的特点结合单元话题重点，做如下教学设计：
1.阅读前我选取一篇欧美国家孩子做家务的短文，作为课前活动，给学生学习文章补充相关背景知识。通过2a提问引出学生在家务劳动中的现状并思考自己的立场。利用活动问题与学生进行交流讨论，展开读前活动。此阶段的主要任务为激活学生思维，调动他们的阅读欲望和参与活动的意识。
2.运用学生喜欢的QQ 群聊引入本课的话题，引导学生进行快速阅读获取中心大意。了解运用skimmimg 阅读技巧。
3.找出两人的不同观点，核对答案，引导训练学生对文中信息进行筛选判断和归纳，同时将语篇中的生词及语言难点分散学习，降低语言给学生带来的阅读障碍。
4.采用任务型阅读策略细读加深文章学习，细读第一篇文章完成判断。通过判断信息更加明晰Ms.Miller 所持观点。第二篇文章我把它作为一篇任务型阅读语篇处理，通过完成任务，进一步熟识相关内容。
5.这两篇阅读长句型较多，解决里面的新词汇方能扫清学生的阅读障碍。针对这个难点我设计了两个观察与思考活动，让学生采用小组合作的方式解决词汇难点，又因时间紧任务重，学生俩人合作完成了相关阅读任务。
6.两个语篇观点迥异，都列出了相关的语句支持自己所持的观点。根据这些特点，我采用Mind-map 帮助学生明确梳理语篇内容。学生运用思维导图可以更清晰条理的记忆相关内容，为下一个环节的语言输出做好铺垫。
7.最后通过欣赏歌曲《时间都去哪儿了》，进一步深化学习内容，达到情感上的升华。
8.根据学生层次的不同，分层次设计作业，其中结合本课话题，布置了一项实践活动作业，让学生回家帮父母做一件家务活。
课件27张PPT。Section B (2a-2e)Unit3 Could you please clean your room?在英美等西方发达国家的一些中产家庭中，不少家长给做好家务劳动的孩子发“工钱”，以此来激励孩子参与家务劳动。孩子在几毛钱几块钱的鼓励下把被动劳动变成主动劳动。随着年龄增长，他们逐渐学会体谅父母，也知道了自己在家庭中应当有所担当，懂得不劳而获是不对的。
哈佛大学的教育学者曾对400多名学生长期跟踪调查，发现美国小学生每日平均劳动1.2小时。更值得我们参考及反思的是，他们得出结论：爱做家务的孩子与不爱做的相比,长大后失业率为1：15，犯罪率为1：10,平均收入高出20％，此外，离异率、心理疾病患病率也比较低。
总而言之，孩子帮助家长从事适当的家务劳动可以增强责任感，培养动手能力和观察能力，有利于家庭成员间的理解和沟通。课前准备Brainstorm chores
