Step 1 Greetings
Greet the students as usual.
Step 2 Lead-in
Play a video of a song named I want to Guilin.
(播放歌曲视频，激发学生参与的兴趣。同时设置问题，复习导入新课。)

Show some pictures of famous places of interest in China. Learn the new words :the Terracotta Army, the Bird’s Nest
(导入景点名称the Terracotta Army，the Great Wall，the Bird’s Nest，the Palace Museum，通过图片让学生学习景点的英文表达;中国的名胜古迹和的拼读对学生来说有一定的难度，教师需要反复带读和操练）
Step4 Work on 1a
Show the pictures of the four interesting places in China and have Ss match each picture with the correct name.
