Anger is a kind of feeling. 1 . When your teacher gives you too much homework, when your team loses an important game, when a friend borrows your favorite thing and then breaks it, you may get angry.
2 . For example, you breathe faster, your face turns red, and you may want to break something or hit someone, but sometimes you hide your anger. 3 . The problem is that if you do this, you may get a headache or your stomach may hurt.
In fact, it’s not good to hide your anger, and it’s normal for you to get angry sometimes. As soon as you find your problems, you may cry to relax. When you get angry, you can talk about it with adults, such as parents, teachers, etc. 4 . Here are some other things you can do when you start to feel angry: count from 1 to 100; give someone a hug, go for a bike ride, think about good things, etc.
Remember that when you are angry, how you act can make everything better or worse. 5 .
Don’t let your anger control you.
Many things can make you angry.
Don’t laugh at others when they get angry.
For example, you may hide it in your heart.
Usually, your body will tell you when you are angry.
After doing this, you’ll find those bad feelings can start to go away.?
When I was in the seventh grade, I volunteered about thirty to forty hours a week during the summer at a local hospital in my town. Most of the time I spent there was with Mr. Gillespie. He never had any 1 , and nobody seemed to care about his condition. I spent many days there holding his hand and talking to him, helping with anything that needed to be done. He became a close friend of mine, even though he replied to me with only a very 2 moving of his fingers. Mr. Gillespie was still in a coma(昏迷).
I left for a week to vacation with my parents, and when I 3 back, Mr. Gillespie had gone. I didn’t have the courage to ask any of the nurses where he was, for fear they might tell me he had died.
Several years passed. One day, when I was at the gas station, I noticed a familiar face. When I realized who it was, my eyes filled with 4 . He was alive! I asked him if his name was Mr. Gillespie, and if he had been in a coma about five years ago. With a(an) 5 look on his face, he replied, “Yes”. I explained how I knew him, and that I had spent many hours talking with him in the hospital. With tears in his eyes, he gave me the warmest hug (拥抱)I had ever 6 .
He began to tell me how, as he lay there in a coma, he could 7 me talking to him and could feel me holding his hand the whole time. He thought it was an angel, not a person, who was there with him. Mr. Gillespie firmly 8 that it was my voice and touch that had kept him alive.
Then he told me what happened to him to put him in the coma. We both cried for a while and exchanged a hug, said good-bye and went our separate 9 ways.
Although I haven’t seen him since then, he fills my heart with joy every day. I know that I made a difference between his life and his death. More 10 , I will never forget him and what he did for me: he made me an angel.

Thirty years ago I worked in a company. My job was to sell the cars. I was young and strong and I had been to most parts of the world and I spent one fifth of my time in the trains or planes. I liked such a life and sometimes I called myself “traveler”.
But one day I got into trouble. It was a cold morning. It blew heavily and the ground was covered with thick snow outside. I was still in bed though it was nine. I finished a long journey the day before and decided to have a good rest. Suddenly the telephone rang and my manager told me to fly to New York to take part in an important meeting. I had to get up and after a quick breakfast I hurried to the airport. The taxi went slowly and I missed the first flight. I had to take the next one. It meant I would wait for nearly five hours in the waiting-room. But five hours later a passenger said the information showed there was a bomb(炸弹) in our plane and the policemen were looking for it. And another five hours passed and most passengers lost their patience before we were allowed to get on the plane. At the entrance each passenger and their baggage(行李) had to be examined. A young man who seemed a soldier shouted at the policemen at the entrance, “If I had a gun in my baggage, I would shoot you two hours ago!”
