句型结构:物品名称+be动词+名词性物主代词/名词所有格. 句型中be动词是is还是are由主语的单复数形式决定。句中的mine是名词性物主代词,它在句中起名词的作用,相当于my picture。
例句:The blue pencil is mine.

一般疑问句:Be动词+人/物+(其他+)某人的?
肯定回答:Yes, 主语+ be动词.否定回答:No, 主语+ be动词+not. 此句型如果询问单数物品是否归某人所有,be动词用is;如果询问复数物品是否归某人所有,be动词用are。
例句:—Is that cat yours? 那只猫是你的吗?
—Yes, it is.是的,它是。考向回答时表示单数物品不用this/that作主语,要用it;表示复数物品不用these/those, 要用they。—Are those storybooks his?

此两种句型是询问某物归谁所有的特殊疑问句。whose意为“谁的”,用来引导特殊疑问句,对物品的归属进行提问,两种句型可以相互转换。例句:Whose bike is it? =Whose is this bike?
