本单元话题是围绕星期和活动展开的。
本单元将要学习表示一周存在几天的句子how many days are there in a week?。表示活动安排的句式I play ping-pong today. I play chess on Monday.。询问今天是星期几的句型what day is today?
相关内容上位知识分析及结合上位知识分析确定的本单元的教学重、难点
学生在一年级下学期已经学习过了有关你什么时间做什么的句子“What do you do in the morning/afternoon/evening?” “how many apples do you have?”因此学生对What do you do? 和How many?这两个句子并不陌生。另外,学生也同时了解了一些有关英文词组的知识,并初步认识和了解了词组play games, watch cartoons, play with my toys, have PE… 等简单的英文词组。这些都会帮助学生完成知识的迁移学习本单元描述“星期几做什么”的句型学习有帮助。综合上面的情况确定本单元的重难点是: 能询问“今天是星期几”和描述“星期几做什么”的交际用语。认读和区分动词短语。

本单元话题层层递进,逐步加深对主题句型的理解和运用能力。L1, How many days are there in a week? 答语是There are seven days in a week.前面三个单元描述物品数量,尤其是对there be句型做了充分的训练,因此,本课的重点就是继续拓展这一句型,并注意训练学生的能力。 L2以What day is today? 引入话题,并开始学习星期几的表达方法。可以考虑把表示星期几的单词Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday整合在一起进行教学,并且把what day is today?作为一个句型进行教学。L2,3分别出现了不同的新动词词组,理解并能够正确的在句型中使用,是在对表达活动安排的句型“星期几做什么”在知识内容上的学习和补充。
本单元是What day is today?(1),是谈论星期几做什么的第一个单元,主要涉及到一周中的周一至周四的表达方法和这四天中的安排。下一个单元将继续学习周五至周日和周末的表达方法,并要求能够在实际情境中交流相关信息。时间词In the morning/afternoon/evening, on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday…, after school, 以及下面一个单元还会出现on weekends,在句型中的使用丰富了学生英语句型的表达和语言运用的准确性。
