本单元是What day is today?(1)，是谈论星期几做什么的第一个单元，主要涉及到一周中的周一至周四的表达方法和这四天中的安排。下一个单元将继续学习周五至周日和周末的表达方法，并要求能够在实际情境中交流相关信息。时间词In the morning/afternoon/evening, on Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday…, after school, 以及下面一个单元还会出现on weekends，在句型中的使用丰富了学生英语句型的表达和语言运用的准确性。
