Lead-in (10 min)
Warm-up: a song of a video---What do you want to eat?
Free talk: show some pictures to talk about some food and drinks.
Presentation and practice (50 min)
Show a picture of a restaurant: some people are ordering food and drinks. And then combine pictures and text dialogues to learn. After that, answer the questions (What does Ben, Janet, and Xiaoling want to drink?).
Role play: practice text dialogues. Let students act Ben, Janet, Cashier, and Xiaoling.
Have a race: Show some pictures about people want to drink and eat, and then ask student what he or she wants to eat or drink. If one knows the answer, please put up your hands. Who answers more and fast, he or she will win.
