3. Read the whole dialogue
(1) Students use fingers to point out the sentences while they are reading the whole dialogue after the sound of the cartoon.
(2) Students practice reading the dialogue by themselves.
(3) Some students are selected to role play the dialogue. There are two students in a group, one acts as Yangyang, the other is Guoguo.
Let’s act
Teacher introduces Guoguo’s good friend named Lele to the students. Students attempts to make dialogues according to Lele’s daily life.
1. Activity: I do, you say
Students speak out the following phrases according to teacher’s body languages.
Phrases about verbs: get up, go to school, go home, go to bed.
Phrases about time: at six thirty, at seven thirty, at five thirty, at nine thirty.
2. Pair work: Make dialogues
Students imitate the functional sentences to make new dialogues.
Functional sentences:
A: When do you go home?
B: At five thirty.

A: When do you go to school?
B: At seven thirty.
Picture 3:
A: When do you go to bed?
B: At nine thirty.
3. Game: I do, you guess
Teacher asks students to make a short dialogue in pairs. For an example, one asks the question “When do you get up?” and uses body languages to express its meanings. The other answers the question with using the sentence structure “At six thirty.” and uses “body clock” to express the exact time.
Students are inspired to make new dialogues as many as they can, they are provided the following phrases.

学生之前没有学过thirty, forty, fifty 等几十的数字,首先,学生在认识钟表方面不是非常准确,其次,在有几点几分的时间中,学生在表达的时候经常出现错误,还应加强数字(几十几)的认读。
