本单元话题是围绕三餐展开的。
本单元将要学习询问早餐/ 午餐/ 晚餐的吃什么, What’s for breakfast? 并学习相关的食品名称。相关内容上位知识分析及结合上位知识分析确定的本单元的教学重、难点
学生在一年级已经学过疑问词what 引导的从句,What do you do? 并零散地学过食品类单词:cake, egg, apple, banana, grape, fish等。一年级下学过How many apples do you have? I have… 对have“有”的含义有一定认识,但是对其“吃、喝”的含义并不清楚。一年级上册学过 I can 句型, I can run/ jump/ dance. 知道can有“能”的含义,但不知道Can I…? 可以用于点餐。

Listen and say
1. Learn the dialogue
(1)Have the students watch and answer: What food can you see?
(2)Teacher shows the first picture of the dialogue. Have the students look at the picture and try to answer: “ Where are they? What are they doing? Is it breakfast time or lunch time?”
Ss: It’s lunch.
(3)Teacher show the second picture of the dialogue. Have the students look and think: What food do they choose?
Ss: Lingling has noodles. Yangyang has a hamburger and ice cream. Baobao has fish and rice.
Teacher stick the food on the blackboard.
2. Understand the dialogue
1. Have the students listen to the dialogue and try to answer: What food do they choose?
2. Teacher show the pictures: rice and meat. Have the students read the words follow the teacher, then have the students stick the pictures on the blackboard.
3. Have the students listen to the dialogue two times, and have them thinking: How do they order?
Ss: Can I have fish and rice, please? Meat and noodles for me, please.
Teacher writes down the two sentences on the blackboard. Then have the students practice the sentences in different ways.
4. Show some exercises about the dialogue by computer.
5. Listen and repeat
(1) Teacher plays the recording, have the students listen and repeat.
Teacher has the students choose one role of them and follow the computer.
(3) Have the students read the dialogue in one group of four.
Let’s act
1. Role play
(1)Teacher acts the waitress with the mouth-muffle, apron and the chef cap. Have three students act Lingling, Baobao and Yangyang.
(2) Have the students role play in one group of four.
(3) Have some groups role play in the class.
Listen and Learn
1.Teacher shows the picture of “Let’s act”.(Teacher act the waitress) Have one student ask: “What do you have?”.Then teacher say: I have fish and rice, fried rice ,rice noodles, a mantou and a fried egg.
Teacher plays the phrase and have the students follow: fish and rice.
T:Do you like fish? Do you like rice?
2.Teacher show different fried rice by the computer, then let the students follow .
3.Teacher show the different pictures of rice noodles, mantou and fried eggs. Help the students understand the words, then have them repeat the words.
4. Practice together
Have the students practice the sentences together. Teacher shows the pictures.
Let’s say
1. Watch and listen
(1) Have the students listen the rhyme, then have them talk about: What can we do with our mouth?
Ss: We can taste with our mouth.
Have the students look and talk about: Where is the little boy? What are there on the table? Is the little boy happy?
(3) Talk together:
T: I think fruits are yummy. How about you?
Have the students talk about their favorite food in the groups.
(4) Teacher play the rhyme 2-3 times, have them guess the meaning.
2. Read the rhyme
Teacher plays the rhyme, have the students clap their hands and follow.

请两个同学做两个火车头,一个用I’m hungry. 另一个用I’m thirsty.
