【知识点一】cut down :砍伐、砍倒

【知识点二】be made of和be made from都表示“由……制成”,主语为制成品。
1.be made of 表示制成成品后,仍可看出原材料是什么,保留原材料的质和形状,制作过程仅发生物理变化。如:

2.be made from 表示制成的东西完全失去了原材料的外形或特征,或原材料在制作过程中发生化学变化,在成品中已无法辨认。如:
The paper wood.纸是木头做的。
Butter milk.黄油是从牛奶中提炼出来的。

【知识点一】 “Would you like...?”是用来礼貌地询问对方的意愿,是否“想要??”或委婉地提出请求、建议或者陈述个人的想法。
1. 后接名词或代词。
Would you like something to drink/eat? 你想要喝点/吃点什么吗?
2. 后接不定式,表示想要做某事。
Would you like to go with me? 你想和我一起去吗?
3. 后接不定式复合结构,表示想要某人做某事。
Would you like him to do the work?你想要他去做这项工作吗?
【知识点二】Never 开头的祈使句表示强烈的否定,相当于“千万不要,一定不要”
open the door of a car before it stops. 在车停稳之前不要开车门。
speak to strangers! 不要跟陌生人说话!
do that again. 再不要这样做了。
【知识点三】 " if " 表示如果,if引导的条件状语从句的用法:If we don’t … , …may …
If we don't do something now, they may all disappear forever! (if从句用一般现在时,主句用may/might/can)
