本节课是沪教版小学英语五年级上册第四单元第一课时的内容，本单元的主题是Grandparents.本节课主要学习与祖辈们一起生活，和一起做事情的日常生活用语。
五年级孩子对家庭生活的认识应该已经很深，对此同学们会有很多能说的话题。由于本节课知识容量很大，所以要想当堂达到熟练运用可能会存在一定的难度。

目标
1. 能掌握新词组write an e-mail, go shopping, play chess的读音与含义；
2. 帮助学习句型--- Do you live with …?--- What do you do with …?并能通过句型做出正确回答；
3. 你过听，说，读，词汇：always ，usually ，often ，sometimes， never。
4. 通过 listen and say的对话练习，学习并巩固本单元核心词汇及句型。

While-task procedures
1.通过Daily Talk的相关内容，引出今天我们学习的新知依然与家庭生活，家庭活动有关，并引出新课 Unit 4 Grandparents
2.欣赏一段有关孩子与长辈一起活动一起生活，一起游戏的视频，让学生感受与长辈生活在一起是开心又美好的事情。
【设计意图】通过视频的欣赏让学生有所感触，让学生联想到与长辈一起生活的相关事情，为下面学习做好铺垫。
3.教授频率副词，通过电子书上 look and learn部分来学习频率副词并指出其中的区别

4.师生通过ppt问答相关知识引出短语 play chess write emails，等词汇。

提示学生用go shopping go to the beach play football go to the park 等短语回答问题。
5.通过多媒体ppt展示play chess ，play table tennis， write emails 等词汇的照片并通过对话练习这些短语。
T: What can you do with your grandparents?
S1：I can play table tennis with my grandparents.
6.出示match and say 内容提出问题让同学通过课件观看Listen and say 部分的视频动画，小组合作探讨match and
say 的内容如何完成，研讨过程中教师分别与每组进行交流协助解决疑难问题。
7.再次观看Listen and say 部分的视频动画，小组合作分别派出代表回答问题

【设计意图】这是本课时中的重点内容，通过观看page24中的listen and say 部分的动画和小组研讨等方式学习并解决Match and say 部分内容让同学们能把握住本课时的重点句型，能够灵活运用句型来表达。

1.课后根据所学习的对话内容完成p28 Do a survey 部分要求按照课文给出的对话内容小组内互相问答，完成表格。
2．What do you usually do with your grandparents？Write a short passage about you and your grandparents。
