China will host the 7th Military World Games - the Olympics for military personnel - in Wuhan, Hubei province, from Oct 18 to 27, 2019, the Defense Ministry said on Friday.
More than 8,000 military athletes from more than 100 countries will participate in 27 major sporting events, said ministry spokesman Senior Colonel Wu Qian. The event‘s insignia(徽章), mascots, slogan and website were also unveiled(公布于众) on Friday.

From July 5 to 28, a team of cyclists known as Bikers for Disaster-Hit Areas will ride their bikes 1,888 km from Lijiang, Yunnan Province, to Lhasa, Tibet.
