What’s the matter?教学设计
一:教学目标:
知识目标:学习描述身体部位以及身体疾病的词汇,学习描述疾病及给出建议的句型。
Words: head, neck, stomach, sore, fever, lie down,
headache, stomachache, toothache, sore throat, cough
Sentences: What’s the matter? I have a headache.
What should I do? You should lie down and rest.
能力目标:能够运用所学知识描述身体疾病并给出建议,熟练运用所学句型进行对话。能够听懂描述健康问题的对话材料。
情感目标:通过角色扮演过等活动,培养学生关爱他人健康的品质。使学生意识到珍爱健康的重要性,从而树立学生健康的生活观念。
二:教学重难点
重点:描述身体部位以及身体疾病的词汇,描述疾病及给出建议的句型。What’s the matter? I have a headache.
What should I do? You should lie down and rest.
难点:掌握情态动词should, shouldn’t的用法。
三:教学过程
Step 1:Warming up
1.Enjoy a song and dance to the song.用一个短视频导入本课中身体部位这一环节的学习。学生跟随音乐起舞,营造活跃的课堂气氛。
2.Know your body 学生通过跟随老师的指引,逐个说出身体部位的词汇。
3.A touching game 游戏环节,教师发出“touch you…”指令,学生做出相应的动作,通过这样的游戏环节来复习身体部位的词汇,激发学生的学习兴趣。
Step 2 Look and say--- Listening 1b-1c
1.通过看图对话,练习句型What’s the matter? I have a …,以及描述疾病的短语have a headache, have a fever等
2.pairwork:两人一组,运用所学句型及短语,练习对话。
3.Listen 1b:通过听力练习,进一步熟悉所学句型。通过1c的对话练习,使学生掌握该句型的不同人称的应用。
Step 3 Look and say---Listening 2a-2c
1.通过look and say,引出该部分中针对疾病给出建议的短语,实现听前输入。
2.通过2a-2b听力练习,使学生进一步巩固描述疾病的句型,同时,熟悉新句型What should I do ?You should…以及给出建议的短语,为下一环节的听后说做知识储备。
3.2c Groupwork:创设情境,小组内一人扮演医生,三人扮演病人,运用所学句型进行对话练习,既完成听后说,又能使学生将所学知识运用到生活情境中去。
Step 4:Role-play 2d
1.情景问答:根据2d对话内容,设计三个简单的情景问答,既回顾了本课句型,又能训练学生的听的能力,为将来口语考试做好铺垫。
2.两人一组,分角色朗读对话。在对话中,巩固本课时重点短语句型,训练学生说的能力。
Step 5达标检测
通过达标检测的练习,检测学生对本课时内容的掌握情况。
Step 6 情感提升
通过对学生当前健康状况的分析,使学生明白健康的重要性。同时,针对这些问题给出建议,使学生意识到珍爱健康的重要性,从而树立学生健康的生活观念。

Healthy eating doesn’t just mean what you eat, but how you eat. Here is some advice on healthy eating.
Eat with others. It can help you to see others’ healthy eating habits. If you usually eat with your parents, you will find that the food you eat is more delicious.
Listen to your body. Ask yourself if you are really hungry. Have a glass of water to see if you are thirsty—sometimes you are just thirsty, you need no food. Stop eating before you feel full.
Eat breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. After you don’t eat for the past ten hours, your body needs food to get you going. You will be smarter after eating breakfast.
Eat healthy snacks like fruits, yogurt or cheese. We all need snacks sometimes. In fact, it’s a good idea to eat two healthy snacks between your three meals This doesn’t mean that you can eat a bag of chips instead of a meal.
Don’t eat dinner late. With our busy life, we always put off eating dinner until the last minute. Try to eat dinner at least 3 hours before you go to bed. This will give your body a chance to digest most of the food before you rest for the next 8—10 hours.
