I. pre-homework (前置性作业)

II. Warming up and Lead in:
T: Look at the picture. Miss Meng has many things. What belongs to Miss Meng?
Ss: The set of keys/The pair of glasses/The book/.The wallet belongs to Miss Meng.
(设计意图:用老师自己的东西更加有真实感。目的是引出目标句型)
III. Presentation:
1. Learn new words.
T: We have talked about Miss Meng’s belongings. Let’s look at Miss Meng’s family’s belongings.

2. T: Let’s talk about my family’s belongs. What must belong to Miss Meng? What might/could belong to Miss Meng? What can’t belong to Miss Meng?
Show a chart to explain these modal verbs.
Ss: The pink hat must belong to Miss Meng. The valuable watch might belong to Miss Meng. The truck can’t belong to Miss Meng.

IV. Listen to 1b
T: We have known my belongings and my family’s belongings. Let’s talk about Jane’s friends’ belongings. First, know about Jane’s friends, their belongings and reasons.

Ss: Read names, things and reasons.
T: The first time, listen and match the names with the things. The second time, listen and match things and reasons. Ask a student to write down the answers on the panel computer.

课后反思:本节课通过学习对物品的归属进行讨论,目的在于复习以前学过的名词所有借以及名词性物主代词,在此基础上学习情态动词表示推测这一个新用法。比较贴近学生实际,学生对此话题很感兴趣,上课过程中, 学生表现很积极,对于对话也很有话说。情态动词学生不陌生, 所以在以前的基础上,接受这个表推测的用法也很容易。通过平板教学,最大的优点就是可以直接实现师生的交互,并且对于学习效果可以立即查看,更大的提高了学习效率和课堂容量。不足之处在于学生的口语还有待加强,口语错误较多,在以后的教学中做到多读、多演、多练。
