Unit 1 What are they doing?
教材分析
本课将继续学习现在进行时,重点是让学生能用现在进行时进行问答。通过学习,学生将提高用英语进行交流的能力。在复习已学的动词和动词词组的过程中,不断引申出更多动词短语的学习。同时在操练已学句型的过程中,拓展出新句型What are they doing? 及其应答语的学习。Unit1 课文重点转移到询问和讲述他人正在做的事情。课文以听音选择的方式呈现句型学习,并在听音后针对答案进行讲述练习以巩固知识的掌握。
学生分析
小学四年级的学生在经过一年的英语学习后已形成了良好的英语听说读写的习惯,同时初步具备了一定的听说能力,只要教师在教学中给予学生充分的展示机会和绝对的信任和鼓励,那么每个学生的听说能力都会得到它发挥的平台。

(一)认知目标:
掌握动词或词组: look at, do taijiquan, row a dragon boat,play chess, drink soyamilk .
掌握句型What are they doing? 及相应回答:They’re…….
(二)能力目标:
能运用句型询问和描述他人正在做的事情。
(三)情感目标:
培养学生多留心观察生活。培养学生的学习兴趣。

Step1: Warm-up
Greeting

3、Play a game.
展示三艘小船,每艘船后面藏着一幅有趣图片,让学生练习What is the_______doing? ________is ____________.复习上节课单词和短语。
Look, I have some boats here.It equals Group1.2.3.4. Today we will have a competition. Let’s see which group can row your boat further, OK?
Step 2: Lead in.
OK, we sang a song, we played games,we are very happy.And there are some kids,they are also very happy.Look,(出示kids听音乐图片) what are the kids doing? Let’s listen and answer the question, OK?
Listen and repeat(Activity1动画展示).
3、Loot at here, here’s another kid.Who is she?(出示Amy的图片),Where is Amy?(出示北京背景),Yes, Amy is in China now. And her friend Daming is taking her look around. What are they doing?
4、Listen and answer Question :Where are they ? 给出回答:They are on the bus .讲授get on the bus
5、Let’s get on the bus too. Follow Amy and Daming .
Step 3: Text learning.
Look at the people in the park, what are they doing? They are doing taijiquan.
老师表演太极拳,并带领大家一起演。然后练习do taijiquan 这个短语。
同样的方法教授下一幅图片对应的对话及单词。
Look at the people on the lake.
What are they doing?
They are rowing a dragon boat.
展示第三幅图片,play chess ,展示空白对话,让学生自己表演自己说。
拿出准备的豆浆,说soya milk, 做出喝的动作,教授drink soya milk. 找个别同学做动作说短语。
听录音跟读课文。
教师领读课文。
分角色表演(两名同学带着Amy 和Daming 的头饰从门口走来,每个组表演一种动作,让Amy和Daming做对话)。
Step 4: Practice.
Play a game.
拿出提前准备的动词短语的卡片:do taijiquan; play chess; watch TV; drink soya milk; row a dragon boat; 带领学生读,表演动作。
抽两名同学到前面随意抽取卡片表演。
找一名同学扮演小老师,询问其他同学:What are they doing ? 先抽取个别学生回答,再一起回答。回答后小老师给出评判。
Step 5: Extension.
Let’s look at some interesting pictures, you can make a dialogue with your partner.(展示两幅动画,四个小朋友在骑自行车,几只小狗在跳绳),让同桌两个练习对话
Daming: Look at _________
Amy: What are they doing?
Daming: They are _____________.
任意选择上面的一个对话写一写。
Step 6 : Homework.
看着图片复述课文,背诵课文。
根据上面的图片编两个对话,写一写。
