It’s father’s birthday. A poor (贫穷) girl wants to give him a birthday present. When she is wrapping(包) a box with some gold (镀金的) paper, her father is very angry (生气) .“you can’t waste the gold paper on a box.” The girl is very sad.
The next day, the girl gives the box to her father and says，“ Dad, this is for you. ”His father’s face turns red. He opens the box, but there isn’t anything in it. “Don’t you know, when you give someone a present, there must be something in it? ”The girl looks at him with tears(眼泪)in her eyes. “dad, I put lots of love and kisses in it, they are all for you.”
