【教学思路】
1.让学生以小组为单位讨论在各种公共场所所见到的警示牌或标识牌。然后小组长把结果展示或表达出来,引导学生关注社会常识,养成礼貌的好习惯。
2.结合录音、幻灯片和多媒体等辅助的教学手段,采用不同的形式,引导学生运用有关祈使句的句型进行交际。
3.培养学生在公共场合遵守规则的习惯。

【教学过程】
Step 1 Warming up
1.师生问候。
2.用多媒体展示几个警示牌。如:“禁止吸烟”、“禁止拍照”、“禁止触摸”等。
T:Have you ever seen the signs?

S:I can see it in the hospital,….

活动小结:利用图片导入新课。
Step 2 Presentation
1.学习新单词。
(1)教师出示第一张图片,关于楼上、楼下的图片,教学生学习单词“upstairs”和“downstairs”,并让学生跟读单词,对这个单词进行操练。
(2)教师向学生讲授关于“作业”的两个名词:homework=project。
(3)教师出示第二张关于展览会的图片,“exhibition”,让学生进行跟读,注意发音。
(4)教师解释“rule”的含义是“规则”,为可数名词。并且引出短语:against the rules“违反规定”。继续引出新短语:“遇上麻烦”in trouble。
(5)教师展示第三张图片,是一只猴子,指出它的“尾巴”,教授tail。
(6)教师在课堂上拿出一根绳子,利用实物教学,rope“粗绳”。
(7)教师展示第四张图片,一个几岁的小孩,解释kid=child,kid的复数为kids,child的复数为children,然后领读。
(8)教师展示第五张图片,“禁止入内”no entry。引出no wonder短语的意思:难怪,不足为奇。
(9)教师教授新单词missing“失踪的”和punish“惩罚”。
2.操练单词。
(1)给学生几分钟记忆单词,然后教师把带有单词的卡片拿出来让学生依次拼读。
(2)教师可以把学生分成几组进行单词拼读比赛。
(3)教师再让学生用所学单词进行造句。
活动小结:教师以图片的形式导入新单词,以图记忆,通过图片的形式让学生拼读单词,加深记忆。找几名学生比赛记单词,巩固记忆。利用多种形式调动他们的学习积极性。
Step 3 Practice & Listening
1.Let students look at the pictures on page 34.
Ask them to match the signs with the rules and tell their partners the rules.
At last,let students say where they can find these signs.
2.让学生听Part 2中的录音,并回答Part 2中的两个问题。
(1)Where did Lingling find the guide?
(2)How many people are going to the museum on Saturday?
3.让学生听Part 3的录音,并跟读对话。
4.教师要求学生读对话的同时,让学生找出文中的重点短语和句型。

这些句子表达的都是“禁止做某事”的意思。要表达这一意思可以采用以下几种结构:
①No+doing sth.这是一种比较常用的表达方式。例如:No smoking.禁止吸烟。

答案:No joking
②No+名词.
【应用】________ ________ .请勿入内。
答案:No entry
③祈使句,表示“禁止做某事”用don't。例如:
Don't make any noise.不要吵闹。
也有用动词原形的,例如:
Keep off the grass.请勿踩踏草坪。
【应用】________ ________.请勿触摸。
答案:Don't touch
5.Act out the dialogue.
教师选几组学生表演对话,锻炼学生的口语表达能力。
6.Ask students to make a summary about the rules mentioned in the dialogue and check them.
活动小结:找几组学生分角色表演这个对话,使学生进入到情境中,能更好地理解对话,同时也锻炼了学生的口语表达能力。
Step 4 Discussion & Consolidation
1.Ask students to read the dialogue again,and then ask them to say something about what rules there are in the museums.
(1)No shouting.
(2)Don't cross that rope!
(3)No entry.
(4)No photos.
Let students think about what other rules there are in the museums.
2.Ask students to write down what they cannot do in the museums,and then talk about them in pairs.
S1:What cannot you do in the museums?

3.Ask students to read the dialogue again,and complete the passage with the correct form of words in the box.(Activity 5)
Check the answers together.
At last ask students to make sentences with the words in the box.Choose some students to present their sentences to the class.
活动小结:让学生去找文中的重点知识,发挥学生自主学习的能力,并通过练习,达到巩固加深的目的。
Step 5 Pronunciation & Speaking
1.Listen and underline the words the speaker stresses.
(1)Play the tape and let students listen to the sentences.

(3)Ask students to point out the words the speaker stresses.
(4)The teacher makes a speech about the stressed words in one sentence,and gives some extra examples to students.
(5)Let students listen to the dialogue in Activity 2,and ask students to pay attention to the words the speaker stresses.
2.Work in pairs.Discuss the rules in your classroom.

Step 1 Warming up
1.师生问候。
2.让学生自由谈论所参观过的博物馆。
3.用多媒体课件展示世界各国的博物馆图片,让学生自由讨论自己最想去的博物馆,以激发学生的学习积极性。
活动小结:教师以图片的形式导入新单词,以图记忆,利用图片的形式让学生拼读单词,加深记忆。找几名学生比赛记单词、造句子,巩固记忆。利用多种形式调动他们的学习热情。
Step 2 Presentation
1.学习新单词:教师用多媒体呈现:physics,experiment,sand,control,truck,wheel,speed,key,communication,chemistry,X-ray,dig,coal,energy,whole等单词并领读,让学生了解它们的词性及含义。
(1)拿起物理书,引出单词“物理学”physics。
(2)展出一张做实验的图片,教学单词,experiment名词“实验”。
(3)展示沙子的图片,从而引出单词sand,名词“沙,沙子”。
(4)动词,control“操作,操纵”。
(5)展示一张卡车的图片,从而引出单词,truck名词“卡车,货车”。
(6)展示一张车轮的图片,从而引出单词,wheel名词“车轮,轮子”。
(7)名词,speed“速度”。
(8)名词,key“按键”,还可意为“钥匙”;还可作形容词“重要的”。
(9)名词,communications“资讯”,常用复数形式。
(10)拿出学生们的化学书,引出单词,“化学”chemistry。
(11)动词,dig“挖掘,掘(洞)”,其过去式和过去分词为dug。
(12)名词,coal“煤”,不可数名词。
(13)名词energy“能量,能源”,不可数名词。
(14)形容词,whole“全部的,整个的”。
2.操练单词。
(1)给学生几分钟记忆单词,然后教师把带有单词的卡片拿出来让学生依次拼读。
(2)教师可以把学生分成几组进行单词拼读比赛。
活动小结:让学生自主总结知识重难点,培养他们的自主学习能力。让学生读文章,回答问题,更加了解文章的细节。
Step 3 Practice & Listening
1.利用幻灯片出示36页上的教学图片,让学生两人一组完成讨论并说出Part 1中两个博物馆的不同之处。
2.Read the passage and answer the question.
(1)Ask students to read the question and the title of the passage,and then let students guess what the main idea is about the passage.
(2)Let students read the passage to find about the language points and discuss them together.
(3)Ask students to find the differences from other museums.
(4)Let students work in pairs to discuss the differences.Ask students to underline the differences on the book.
(5)Ask students to present their answers to the question.
(6)Check the answers together.
(7)Ask students to read the questions in Activity 4 and read the words in the box.
(8)Let students make some sentences with the words.and then answer these questions.
(9)Check the answers together.
3.Complete the table.
(1)Ask students to look at the table in Activity 3.
(2)Make a summary about“Your favourite museum and Tony's favourite museum”.
(3)After students have finished the table,the teacher asks some students to present their favourite museums to the class.
(4)Choose the most interesting museum.
活动小结:让学生自己发挥想象,说说自己最喜欢的博物馆,锻炼他们的口语表达能力。
Step 4 Writing
1.Learn about the pronouns.
(1)Ask students to find the sentences with it,they or there.
(2)Ask students to decide what the words in the sentences refer to.
But the Science Museum is different … it is noisy.
People talk about what they can see and do there.
(3)Ask students to complete the passage in Activity 6.
2.Write a passage about “Your favourite museum”.
(1)Ask students to use the Your favourite museum column in Activity 3 to write a passage.
(2)Let students use Activities 2 and 6 to help them.Ask them to pay attention to the pronouns to avoid repetition.Be sure the reference is clear.
(3)Ask students to present their writings to the class,and choose the best one.
活动小结:在写作中让学生重点使用代词,避免重复。提升学生们的写作归纳能力。

2.Learn about the signs.
(1)教师用幻灯片展示自己收集的各种标志让学生说说标志所表示的含义。让学生畅所欲言,也说说自己见过的有意思的标志。
(2)让学生完成活动1和2,这些标志都很常见,不需要做特别的说明,如果学生有不了解的可以在一起核对答案的时候重点强调一下。
(3)教师重点总结强调一下祈使句的应用和构成。
①祈使句,表达说话人对对方的叮嘱、劝告、希望、禁止、请求或命令等。祈使句一般以动词原形开头,无时态和数的变化,句末用句号或感叹号,用降调。
②祈使句有三种类型:
含第二人称主语的祈使句
a.当祈使的对象是第二人称you时称为含第二人称主语的祈使句。这时,主语you通常会省略,谓语动词用原形。有时在句首或句末加please,还可加上称呼语,用逗号与句子主体隔开。如:
Please be quiet,boys!孩子们,请安静!
如果要加强语气,可在动词前加do。如:
Do keep away from the fire!切记远离火种!
b.否定式在谓语动词前加Don't或Do not,强调否定式则在动词前加Never。如:
Don't always make the same mistake.不要老犯同一个错误。
c.有时为了强调指明向谁提出要求或发出命令,或表达说话人的急躁、厌烦、不满、恼怒的情绪,就用主语you表示,且放在动词前。如:
You mind your head!小心别碰到头了!
若为否定式,则把Don't放在主语you之前。如:
Don't you come here!你别来这里!
含第一、第三人称主语的祈使句
a.含第一或第三人称主语的祈使句通常以let开头,第一人称由“Let+me/us +动词原形”构成,第三人称由“Let+第三人称代词(用宾格)或名词+动词原形”构成。这类祈使句往往用于提出建议。如:
Let me have a try if you don't want to.如果你不想,就让我试一试吧。
有时也可以先称呼对方的名字,后跟一句无人称主语的祈使句。如:
Jane,sit down please.简,请坐下。
b.这类祈使句的否定式是在动词原形前加not,也可以在let前加Don't。如:
Don't let him go out.别让他出去。
无动词祈使句
在请求、命令和口号中,常用无动词祈使句,它实际上是省略了动词,从而使语句更简洁或有力。如:
Just a minute,please!请稍等!
在一些指示牌上,常用“No+动名词/名词”构成简略式的否定祈使句。如:
No smoking!禁止抽烟!
还有一些是祝词类的无动词祈使句,如:
Long live our friendship!我们的友谊万岁!
活动小结:总结祈使句的用法,帮学生总结归纳语法。
Step 3 Practice & Consolidation
1.Complete the sentences with the correct form of the words in brackets.
(1)教师让学生总结句型:If you+动词一般现在时,+动词原形.
表达建议的一种,后面直接跟动词原形,if如果,表示条件。
(2)让学生完成活动3中的练习,一起核对答案。
(3)尽量让学生用此句型再进行造句,锻炼学生对此句型的熟练使用。
2.Complete the sentences with your own ideas.
(1)Ask students to finish the sentences.
(2)Work in pairs,exchange the sentences to read.
(3)Invite some students to present their sentences to the class to check them.
(4)Encourage students to do more exercises including the sentence pattern.
活动小结:这个练习锻炼学生的思维能力和写作能力。
Step 4 Speaking
1.教师让学生读关于活动5中博物馆的信息,按照“Opening hours,Please note,Charge,What is on,Contact us”几个方面对信息进行分解。
2.学生两人一组,分别就这五个方面的信息创编会话,最后选择五个组在全班表演会话。
3.教师最后让学生尽量写写在这个博物馆的注意事项。
4.如果还有时间,抽样检查几名学生的写作,读给全班学生听。
活动小结:锻炼学生获取关键信息的能力。
