一、教学目标
知识目标:能够听、说、认、读本课的重点单词:Christmas/England/sing/give/present/eat .
能力目标:能够介绍圣诞节,知道圣诞节的主要活动。会说句型:Merry Christmas! We sing songs. We have a Christmas tree. We give presents. We eat lots of food.
情感目标:通过本课学习,使学习有兴趣听、说英语、背歌谣,主动与他人交流。能够互相致以节日的问候,了解西方圣诞节。培养学生的跨文化意思,了解西方国家的节日。

Step1.热身复习
1.Greetings: Hello, boys and girls. How are you, today?
Let’s look at some pictures.
Do you know what are they about?
2. Do you know other Chinese festivals?
(设计意图:通过精美图片展示,引出新年及其他中国重要节日)
Step2?导入新课
师:You have known some Chinese famous festivals. Now let’s see some another pictures. 展示图片,引领学生复习已经学过的西方国家节日。问:What’s it about? You can say in Chinese.
当学生说出“感恩节”时,师:Yes, it’s the Thanksgiving day.带领学生大量练习。
T:Today we will learn module 10 unit2 Merry Christmas.(练习Merry Christmas的发音)
I like Christmas, do you?Why?
可以让同学们小组交流一下,然后班内交流。
(设计意图:通过情境,引起学生生活经历的再现,将我们的文化与英语教学很好的结合。)
Step3?学习新课
1.放第一遍录音,listen and choose.
2.放第二遍录音,listen to the tape and answer questions.
3.放第三遍录音,学生跟读。
?⑴Give presents
T: Look! the father Christmas is coming .(教师头戴准备好的圣诞帽)
Father Christmas: Hello boys and girls! Close your eyes and sleeping. I will give you presents(单词Christmas tree/present/peanuts/sweets/其他水果食物等卡片).(教师扮演圣诞老人发送礼物)
T: Ok, open your eyes.
(让拿到礼物的同学把礼物举起来让老师看一下。)
师生一齐对得到礼物的同学说:Happy Christmas!
T:Show us your presents.让拿有圣诞老人发的单词礼物的同学上台找朋友(找单词相应的汉语意思),找到后领大家一齐读单词,句型(We have/eat ……)
(设计意图:让学生在接受礼物的氛围中体验西方文化,并学习西方文化)
4.教师领读课文,对重点、难点词、句反复练习。
(设计意图:通过任务性录音教学,让学生有目的的听,更好地集中注意力。)
5.学习歌曲We wish you a merry Christmas.
Step4?游戏巩固
Making Christmas Card.
T:Do you want to give your friends’presents ? Let’s make a Christmas Card .
T: Please take out your things, and make it. You can do it by yourself, or with your deskmates, or in your group.
…
T: Now, please sing the song, and you can send your card to your good friends after the song. You should say: Happy Christmas or Merry Christmas!)
(设计意图:让学生制作贺卡,自己做,也可以和同桌合作完成,还可以小组合作完成。在制作完成之后,让学生在歌声中把贺卡送给自己的好朋友,并送上圣诞祝福。通过这一系列的活动,让学生快乐自觉地学习和运用英语。)
创造条件,让班内学生参与表演中国和西方国家的礼俗,教师可在其中引导学生,如We’re going to play a game?about?Spring Festival .…,引导学生大胆练习口语Here are some peanuts/sweets?for?you ./Give?you./Thank you!/You’re welcome./Bye/……
(设计意图:让学生学会合作,为学生创造一个展示自我的舞台,并将知识进行拓展和延伸。因为学生有丰富的生活经验,过年问好,赠糖果等都很熟悉,所以学生表演起来难度不大,但对英语口语的应用有一定的难度,教师应给予适当的指导。)
Step6 家庭作业
⒈听录音,朗读课文,并试着模仿语音语调。
⒉收集其他节日的图画或者照片,并了解其风俗习惯.例如:中秋节人们吃什么和做什么.下节课前向同学们介绍自己收集了解到的节日知识.
(设计意图:鼓励学生学有所用,延伸到其他节日,做好课内知识的延伸。)
