Step 1.Warm up
1.Greetings.
T:Class begins .Good morning, boys and girls.
Ss: Good morning, Ms Wang.
2.T:Do you like singing songs ? Ss:Yes,I do. !
T:OK,let’s sing a song .
Sing song : One little, two little ,three little fingers;Four little, five little, six little fingers;Seven little , eight little , nine little fingers;Ten fingers on my hands.

Step 2. Presentation
T:Good job! Let’s count the children in the first group.One child ,two children,…twelve children。Stop!What’s the next number ?
Ss:Thirteen . (预设:学生可能不会说出英语的数字13,可能会用汉语来回答。)
T:Yes, let’s learn thirteen !
(教师用自制单词卡教授新单词,生学习) (设计意图:应情应景的谈话激活学生的英语思维,唤醒学生已有的知识和经验,从而引出数字13,自然导入本节课的教学内容)
T:Let’s count the desks in the class. One ,two ,three… ,thirteen. Stop ! What’s the next number ?

2、Learn the sentences.

Ss : Crayons .
T: How many crayons ?
Ss: Twenty-one .
There are twenty-one crayons . Ms Smart needs twenty crayons ,but there are only nineteen crayons .Today,we will learn Module5Unit1 ,there are only nineten crayons .

Step 4. Text.
Let’s listen to the tape . Answer the questions:(PPT呈现) (放第一遍录音)
Listen to the tape and using your finger point the dialogue .

2、Read and learn: (放第二遍录音)
(1)Look at the text.listen and read after the tape and underline the sentences about the questions . Then.
(设计意图:让学生听录音模仿跟读,培养学生地道的语音语调。随着问题的深入进一步培养学生边听边思考的学习习惯。)
(2)Work in groups. Please find out the answers of questions.
(设计意图:学生四人小组合作学习课文完成,找出问题的答案,检查学生对本课的理解和掌握情况,培养学生的合作精神。)
Step 5:composition
Show picture, there are three crayons ,but there are five children .(教会学生用There are 描述物品的数量,并能用but表转折。)
Then children make their own sentences and have a composition,I will give a present to the winner .
(展开竞赛,激发学生学习英语的积极性,并且能够检测学生掌握所学知识的情况。)
Step 6 Feedback
